Everything about the Dreamcast port of QIIIA came together supremely well at the end: graphics, ambient BGM, sound effects, control, lag-free internet frag-a-thons (most of the time anyway), everything!
  3. A home console first-person shooter has never looked this damn good.

This game is not at its best with a standard Dreamcast controller. You need a mouse and keyboard.
  5. With over 30 warriors to choose from, and over 30 maps, this game will take a while to get old. No matter how you play this game though, you're sure to have a blast.

Despite its flaws, Quake III on the Dreamcast is probably the best FPS game on any console, with the possible exception of the almighty "Goldeneye."

Overall Quake 3 Arena is just as fun as it was on PC and with the addition of the split screen modes and its support for the upcoming broadband adapter it sets the bare for console deathmatch games.

Weapons from Q2 moved to the third part of the Railgun and the rest and redesigned all weapons
The Arenas themselves from the creators of the game are well designed and dynamic, I had fun playing them, I still play it a little
The game has models from all other games id: Doom guy, Ranger, Bitterman
She looks better Q2,improved lighting textures, models
I played with the Ioquake 3 mod which improves textures and other elements even more
My favorite weapon: Shotgun, Plasma, Rocket Launcher, Railgun

This becomes a huge limitation for enjoying this game as the Dreamcast controller doesn't have a second joystick nor does it have USB ports. Sourcing a DC keyboard and mouse is not only expensive but you're stuck to the one they manufactured as you rely on the controller port for the hookup. There are a small amount of adapters but that will run you even more money.

The game itself is atleast a B+ or A- but only with the proper set up or alot of practice with the controller which kinda takes mulitplayer options off the table.

This game is ok but not great. The single person games are really boring, you just run around trying to kill people which is extremely easy. This game is ok but not great. Controls sucked. I think I played more with my cousin than alone. I didn't like this game at all.
