I can’t advocate for this game enough. It’s unfortunate that nobody talks about this platformer that’s an absolute stand out of the genre. Great game to try and 100% with the SIXTY kooky friends to collect and so many shells to dress up your pretty little shelly ladies - makes replaying the levels exciting and fresh. Play it. Do it.

Xia-Xia is nothing short of a masterpiece. I am almost disappointed that I have played it, because I'll never be able to enjoy gaming again.
The storytelling is stellar, and left me in tears of sadness and joy. There are such a variety of things to do, with 60 (sixty) kooky friends to collect. The platforming mechanics are masterfully created and the score is fantastic: some of John Williams' best work. How this game never got a sequel is beyond me.
This game really makes you feel like Xia-Xia.

Xia-Xia may possibly be the best gaming experience one can have, truly ahead of its time!. My wife is no longer divorcing me after I showed her how fast I can speedrun this game (3 Hours!) My favourite world is the ice world. The soundtrack and the graphics for this game are nothing short of extraordinary! This is a gaming must-have for anybody who is a fan of the platforming genre and especially those who appreciate stellar storytelling. 10/10 will play again!
