Guns Up! is devilishly addictive and provides a seriously fun formula of mutually beneficial attack and defence tactics. It’s initially intimidating economy only works to give the game depth once you’ve completed the enlightening tutorial, leaving you with a constant desire to progress and improve both your settlement and your garrison of units. All the above is unsettlingly blighted by an ever-present need to fork out real cash or face the reality of dampening the enjoyment by grinding for hours.
Guns Up! is a fun game in short bursts. The setting up of soldiers and perks before an assault is easy to understand and do, with the action never being too long to get to. It looks and sounds decent too, but Guns Up! doesn’t quite meet its full potential. There needs to be more options available for when selecting which base to attack, also boredom due to repetition sinks in over longer play sessions. Guns Up! is a free to play title and there is no harm in checking it out though. It is one of those games that you can have a quick session on, and with that in mind Guns Up! is worth a go.
Guns up is a free to play game with console quality. It looks nice and my only major complaint is load time. The game is completely playable without spending any money, so you only have to pay if you feel like supporting the developers like I do. I still haven't spent money, but I will probably spend 5 or 10 in the future. Also, please note that the only 0 so far is just someone who does not know how to play. If you can not even destroy a wall, no wonder you don't like it.
If you’re into base defense/base invasion games then you should give Valkyrie Entertainment’s Guns Up! a shot. The game’s free-to-play model is fair and there are plenty of reasons to keep coming back for more and more action-packed warfare, as long as you pace yourself.
Guns Up! is a nice way of getting started into RTS games, particularly because it's free-to-play and accessible. The problem is that it's not deep enough to make you stick to it for much longer, or might not be appealing for long-time fans of the genre.
It's a fun game for short bursts, but there's nothing here that will make anyone long to play it, or even think of it for that matter, when they're not home. Hopefully, the developers will add more content to increase the variety and keep it interesting.
A mobile freemium game in a poor disguise, then, Guns Up! feels soulless, with all the variety locked-up tight, early on, behind level gates and constant, nagging pleas for cash. [Feb 2016, p.90]
Guns Up! is a dull game. It's repetitive, it's tedious, it's digital Ambien. If the thought of a console version of Clash of Clans excites you, you’ll probably have a blast with Guns Up! Me, I can’t wait to delete this off my PS4.
Guns up! A not very popular premise but definitely worth it. A game with simple and fun basics can be dangerously addictive. The alliances, the daily rewards and things like wanting to get better veterans or finally beat those opponents with 3 skulls makes you want to go in every day and play this wonderful game. The graphics are simple but well polished that in the end they look pretty good if we accompany it with the wonderful playability and gameplay. The idea of the cards that we can obtain and use in attack is fantastic and they give it that special touch when it comes to playing. Some things could be improved, such as that the developers continue to update the game and do not leave it abandoned as it is now, the loading times on PS4 are somewhat long and the lack of music makes the little that there is tiring and repetitive. Definitely a hidden gem on the PlayStation store. 9/10 highly recommended to play it, and you will probably like it a lot. The game has a lot of potential and is very good, congratulations to the developers and let's fight!
Guns Up! is another free-to-play to game that you either like it or you don't. For someone who BARELY puts money into these games, Guns Up isn't a bad experience. As a matter of fact, this got a little addicting for a bit for me. But once you hit that progress wall, all the fun ends...which is where free-to-play FAILS. Let's be real here, casual gamers will foolishly put $50+ dollars into these experiences, JUST TO PROGRESS. Real gamers don't and we know it. If this wasn't a FTP, I would've enjoyed this much more; hell I woud've put $15 bucks down just to get the full experience. Sadly, FTP will never go that route and will continue to do what this game does...shine in mediocrity.
For a free game it's very good. Played for a few hours straight and didn't get bored. Yes the layouts are the same but difficulty increases. Few different game modes which are enjoyable and the PVP is fun too. Not loads to do yet is still fun.
This is a clone of Warfare 1917. It plays well and is quick to pick up. It's got a fun albeit indistinct art style and the action is really nicely animated. Unfortunately it's quite clearly a Pay-To-Win mobile game despite being developed by a Sony (1st party?) development studio. It's also got really slow servers and multiple bugs that required rebooting the game. If you want a modern Warfare 1917 clone try Warpips instead. Also, it's no longer playable so...
