A beautiful crafted turn based puzzle title in the Hitman series that tries something new and unique even in the mobile gaming industry.
It is challenging and it will make you think how to approach successfully to the next level.
Visually it looks beautiful, rendered in the Unity engine, the art style focuses to look clean and elegant with well crafted color palette, well it is supposed to look like a table game and it does look like it.
The game features new levels as an extra, these levels can be unlocked by: purchase or by completing challenges within the level to gain points so you can unlock them, yeah it may take some time due the increasing challenge with more enemies and less paths to follow but it still being a perfect second option to get acces to these levels without paying more.
This is by far the best Hitman experience that you can get on the go.
Simply the best mobile game since Infinity Blade II came out in 2011. Perfect controls. Perfect graphics. Perfectly captures the spirit of its console counterpart. Puzzles perfectly balanced not too easy and not too difficult. Maybe only tiny minus was for the camera angle rarely obscuring the view (not sure if that was intentional). I was unable to stop playing it until I was finished. Pure fun.
Hitman Go is a brilliant example of how you have to transpose a famous IP on mobile devices. The gameplay is challenging and intriguing, and graphics are exactly something you can feast your eyes on.
It's not perfect, and it certainly won't appeal to everyone, but if you're jonesing for your next taste of the life of an assassin, Hitman GO is the hippest way to emulate everyone's favorite sharp-dressed agent.
It's a fashionable example of something that isn't very interesting. The Hitman license is used here to good, if slightly limited, effect. It's just not enough to make me like something that a lot of players like myself finds fundamentally frustrating, and, moreover, just boring.
This game is what I would call the perfect mobile Hitman experience. It has a very stylized look and manages to be very reminiscent of the Hitman series's themes. Let there be no confusion, this is a puzzle game. All of the levels require the player to approach each level differently than the previous one. It comes with loads of content, each with different locations. This game is well worth the money. 10/10
Cool: With Go, Square Enix doesn’t try to emulate the cinematic action from PC or console, but instead worked out a clever design for touch controls that captures the spirit of Agent 47.
This game is awesome! Superb graphics, levels very well designed, intuitive design and some puzzles that will leave your mind blown. I wasn't expecting so much fun from an Hitman mobile game. Worth buying it! (9/10)
This game is AWFUL. Its like a horrible game of checkers against the computer except the pieces are shaped like "hitman" and "bodyguards". The puzzles are so boring and less fun than a game of checkers against the computer. I would rather play checkers or chess which is available for free somewhere on iOS. Definitely corruption involved in the critics ratings of this game. I got robbed. I can't believe the price of this game and the low quality you get for what you pay. Do not get rip offed buying this horrible horrible game. There is a game that came out in January called Hoplite which is similar in that you move one space per turn to try to reach the "exit" of the stage, yet superior and funner in EVERY way, but because that game exists (it also got a 5/5 on TouchArcade) this game must receive a negative 10 by comparison, but since I can only go as low as on rating, there you have it. Boring and Horrible game. Square Enix must have bribed the critics and gotten a bunch of their own employees to give this positive reviews from users. Try Hoplite. If you do and that isn't ten times better I'll never write a review again. Must fight the corruption and expose Square Enix to prevent them from ripping off more people.
SummaryHitman GO is a turn-based puzzle game with diorama-style set pieces. You will strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies and take out your target or infiltrate well-guarded locations. You really have to think about each move and all the Hitman tools of the trade you would expect are included; disguises, distractions, ...
