The Elder Scrolls: Legends is really good CCG that cleverly milks the Elder Scrolls universe and turns it into an entertaining card game. Legends feels quite different from Hearthstone both because of the Lane mechanics but also the two-attribute deck building that brings more variety to the game. The game's Magicka (the equivalent of Mana) doesn't stop at 10 like it does at Hearthstone, so decks that play for the long game can get to play more expensive cards more easily, which can be a lot of fun. I've been enjoying playing through the campaign and (being a Skyrim fan) playing with all the Shouts and the Dragons. While I'm not going to desert Hearthstone for Legends, I like jumping from one to the other since they give me different kinds of challenges and tickle different parts of the brain. Overall, Elder Scrolls: Legends is a card game definitely worth your time and one that has a lot of potential to get even better.

If you’ve got the time and the storage to spare and love card battlers, or if for some reason it took The Elder Scrolls to finally drag you into this genre, you’re going to want to give this game a try and very well might find it your newest mobile addiction. Let’s hear it for iteration.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a great CCG, but you're going to have to stick with it to really discover that.

I know that flashy effects aren't necessary for a game to be good, much less a CCG. But, when your card game–while good–doesn't look great and doesn't really bring much new stuff to the table, it's hard to be excited by it. Legends does a decent job of interpreting the the world and lore of The Elder Scrolls series into a competent card game, but, on a platform where there are tons of great CCGs, that's not enough.

The 2 lanes thing seems pretty gimmicky. The biggest problem, though, is that it feels so unpolished. It literally seems like they took a low quality CCG and added Elder Scrolls names to the cards. On top of that, it's visually unappealing and pixelated. Extremely disappointing, especially after trying Faeria, Hex, and Hearthstone, all of which are miles ahead.

Terrible expierence! The game is shallow and cards are not really compelling. The name of the game could be ANYTHING and you wouldnt thinkTerrible expierence! The game is shallow and cards are not really compelling. The name of the game could be ANYTHING and you wouldnt think that is strange. I got no elder scrolle vibe from the game except the music and even the music is just okay.

From a gameplay perspective the lane concept is not really a great concept in my opinion. Gives room for stupid game endings. What is not great too for the balancing is that you need at least 50 cards in der your deck. Right now there is not enough draw in the game to make such a big deck work. You draw 20-30 cards an after that the game is decided. Such big decks make luck a much bigger factor.

One thing that make me quit the game really quick is the UI. Its unpoliished as hell! Looks okay but there are too many loading screens and it takes the game too long to load. Deckbuilding is a pain in the ass in my opinion, the text on the cards is too small too its hard to read it.

All in all a bad expierence. What is laughable is that the game comes into a competetive market with already established brands like Hearthstone or Shadowverse (i played both) and the price tag on the game is kinda high and the progression rate not fast enough as a consequence. If youre not blizzard you need to go down the route of shadowverse. You need to be generous. Elder scrolls is not generous in my opinion it cost just like hearthstone in the end and more compared to shadowverse. I think the game will fail in the end. Plus i had zero fun but that could be my taste.

New interesting cards was added, new game mechanics introduced, the ridiculous cheating AI was calmed down and the match matching was fair to PvP players. And now - just 6 weeks later - is everything the same evil as before! Every player use the very same overpowered tow deck - so you have to decide between one of the both or skip PvP completely! Twitch drops are frozen and the AI becomes so extremely ridiculous cheating again that every match against it is a **** joke! Six weeks and all the streamers and the most of all players left the game already again. For **** sake I didn't stepped into there trap. No, I didn't spend one single penny into this expansion! - Not this time! Expand

Mostly because the entire fu**ing game needs to reload itself - only to get the connection back!
This takes on my device a minute and longer - all while the turn timer triggers. After the fu**ing stupid game finally reloaded is the match already over because the opponent was able to play two entire turns that you just skipped and completely dominates the board now. There is no chance left to win the match anymore.
Eventually should the developers fix those problems instead pushing already the next expansion to milk the players.
