All in all, Mystic Vale is a fun, no-frills card game. I am extremely fond of the fact that it's built around shared creation instead of blowing up one another. It's a well-designed card game that translates well into the video game medium. Based on the number of cards that are shuffled in every turn, I suspect the digital version is more fun than the physical version. If you like card games and deck-builders, Mystic Vale is absolutely worth a shot.
Mystic Vale is not without its flaws, but for fans of open and complex card games, it also offers a tantalising amount of depth.
Mystic Vale looks as good as it needs to, with no clutter to speak of and all the information you need to inform your decisions only ever a swipe away. It's not a complex game but it is an involved one in which you'll make a lot of choices and take a lot of gambles. We'd say that the biggest compliment we can give Mystic Vale is that after just a few games we were looking online for the physical version to get our friends involved. It's a quick play (games generally won't stretch past 20-30 minutes) and it's a lot of fun to spend time with. A polished, playable way to spend any allotment of time.

Summary Mystic Vale is a deck-building card game, in which 1 to 4 players take on the role of druidic clans trying to cleanse the curse upon the land. Each turn, you play cards into your field to gain powerful advancements and useful vale cards.
