An outstanding game, with excellent gameplay and a deep set of features. Finally, the PS2 has a genuine A+ sports title.
This game is all around faster (than "Madden 2001") which makes the controls feel even tighter.
These goodies, along with the title's speed, really gave me a sense of the college game. Whether you compare it to the pros or not, it's hard to ask for more.
NCAA Football doesn’t just look good, it looks as comfortable on your television screen as an ESPN broadcast on a Saturday afternoon.

The secondary play continues to be a sore point, and the CPU still can't run the ball effectively with the default AI settings. On the positive side, the human-controlled running game is as good if not better than "NFL2K1" on the Dreamcast.
The NFL has always been my game of choice but NCAA Football 2002 has caught my heart. It's not perfect but it's the most fun I've had with noname players in years.
