Another non-game for the DS that leaves us slightly puzzled. [Mar 2008, p.84]
Even the best endeavour seems futile in the face of a clunky control system and a lack of strong visual feedback. To call it a relaxing piece of leisure software doesn't excuse it, either.
While it presents a few neat ideas, Paint By DS is disappointing on nearly every level. It's dull, boring, and what's more, absolutely heartless.
Pint-sized Picassos may be enticed by Paint by DS but it would be a crying shame if they were to neglect real-world artistic endeavours in favour of this limp product.
This game is still proof of how inaccurate the touch screen is capable of being, although we must admit that it is kind of relaxing. [Apr 2008, p.77]
