For fans of the films, you can hardly go wrong with the Back to the Future adventure games. If you've already bought the first, then you know the kind of quality you're in for. If you've waited to see if the entire series holds together, well, it does. Either way, it still holds up, and if you want to play through it all in one go, now's the time.
I always start out reading reviews with the worst scores just out of curiosity and hoping for some rich criticism. I have to give this series a high score. I really enjoyed these games. This last one, OUTATIME, had me on the edge of my seat cranking through this game. I'm looking forward to going back and playing through them all over again. The over-all feel of the series and story behind it really felt like it belongs along side the theatrical films. It was great! When the credits rolled at the end, I was left hoping that Telltale had plans to make another series. I'd jump at the chance to play it.
This finale is great. The story is very good. In this episode, the player travels to the most number of different times, the line is not confusing and is easy to follow. The story is a great wrap up of all five episodes.
OUTATIME corrects many of the past four episodes' weaknesses with plentiful locations, a strong script, and a fulfilling conclusion to what has been an upsettingly lackluster series. [Oct 2011, p.77]
It's funny, it clever, and it answers a lot of questions I had. I enjoyed playing it, but I didn't love it. The story isn't as grounded as I'd like it to be at certain points, so it throws the balance of sincere/goofy off. I wanted the conclusion of the serious movie feelings episode one started, but I got the comical ending of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Episode 5 "Outatime" Has got to be a pretty decent finale for a 5 part game. This part in my opinion is the most emotional, dramatic part out of all the episodes. Although the ending didn't make much sense it what will make you baffle is the message after the credits.
"Episode 5: OUTATIME" of Back to the Future: The Game delivers a fantastic conclusion that truly captures the essence of a worthy sequel to the beloved movie series. From start to finish, this episode is filled with moments that will make you laugh, cheer, and feel like you're part of the Back to the Future universe.
The ending ties everything together brilliantly, offering a satisfying resolution to the time-traveling adventure that we've been on throughout the entire series. It embraces the essence of the movies and leaves you with a feeling of nostalgia and appreciation for the well-crafted story.
Throughout the entire game, the character development shines, and this final episode is no exception. The relationships between the characters have been beautifully built up, and you can't help but become emotionally invested in their journey. The witty dialogue and excellent voice acting continue to bring the characters to life, staying true to their movie counterparts.
One aspect that remains consistent is the engaging gameplay filled with clever puzzles that keep your brain working. "OUTATIME" doesn't disappoint in this department, offering a satisfying mix of challenge and entertainment.
As a fan of adventure games, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The blend of intriguing puzzles and a captivating story is what an adventure game should be all about, and Back to the Future: The Game delivers on that front.
As the final piece of the puzzle, "Episode 5: OUTATIME" does an excellent job of concluding the narrative while leaving room for future adventures. The team behind this game has managed to create a seamless continuation of the beloved movie series, capturing the essence and spirit of Back to the Future.
In conclusion, Back to the Future: The Game has been an extraordinary journey, and "Episode 5: OUTATIME" serves as the perfect, laughter-filled ending to this amazing adventure. The story, character development, and gameplay all come together to create an experience that any fan of the franchise will thoroughly enjoy. If you're a fan of the movies or simply love well-crafted adventure games, this series is a must-play. It offers the perfect blend of nostalgia, humor, and engaging gameplay that will leave you with a smile on your face long after the credits roll.
But only a few games this fall, rather than the movie puzzles are fun and outgoing sound is still a good listen. The disadvantage is that the game is stuck in the middle of ahswiwotda beogeueul gamers living in Korea
After the marvelous third episode in the 'Back to the Future: The Game' series I didn't think it was possible for the franchise to relive those highs again, especially after the forth entry was quite average, but 'OUTATIME' might just take the game. The puzzles are noticeably more difficult (in a good, challenging way) and the storyline is quite raw and emotional at times. Of course one of the BEST moments of this game was the cameo by the original Marty McFly himself, Michael J. Fox who makes a minor appearance near the finale!
Die letzte Episode war sehr spaßig und interessant.
Die Rätsel waren nicht zu schwierig, der Fokus lang klar auf Humor und Unterhaltung.
Tolles Finale, dachte ich erst und dann to be continued...?
Gibt es eine 6. Episode, weiß das jemand?
