   The art and music are absolutely gorgeous: it's like watching a new season of the anime, following similar story beats including fun climactic battles and as advertised the game is mostly visual novel whereas the battles take a more conclusive role to some story arcs.
   The game takes the character archetypes Adventure layed out as well as the narrative mysteries and twists them into interesting new variations, providing a more realistic take on the setting of seven kids getting lost in another world with monsters. The result is something like Lord of the Flies, where the kids constantly argue and some even start to lose their grip on reality. It's refreshingly raw for the Digimon franchise and goes to some unexpectedly dark places in the storytelling.
   This game is a triumph for Digimon fans, servicing us with the mature story for the fans who grew up with the franchise that we always wanted.… Expand

   Es cierto que la historia posee un comienzo lento, por eso mi consejo es que la abordes como una serie de anime, de la cual tú, eresEs cierto que la historia posee un comienzo lento, por eso mi consejo es que la abordes como una serie de anime, de la cual tú, eres participe, ya que serán tus decisiones las que decidirán el destino de estos niños elegidos, si al igual que yo creciste con la serie DIGIMON, así como con sus video juegos, en las diversas plataformas y mangas, puedo decir sin miedo a equivocarme que este, es uno de sus mejores títulos, posea una excelente narrativa, así como una gran banda sonora, pues si se lo permites llegaras a sentirte identificado con alguno de sus protagonistas, lograra sumergirte en su historia de manera que no llegarías a imaginar, debido a que aborda temas de la vida real, que pocos video juegos de este tipo se atreverían, es el primer video juego de la saga que no te muestra un mundo de fantasía, con nubes de azúcar y lluvia de dulces, si no la realidad a través de los ojos de sus protagonista, cada uno de ellos lidiando con el echo de encontrarse perdidos en medio de un mundo totalmente desconocido, con personas desconocidas, es claro que mucha gente critica el echo de que este juego sea una NOVELA VISUAL, MEZCLADA CON UN SISTEMA DE ROL TÁCTICO, en estas palabras radica el error de las personas, lo que este título busca es un nuevo inicio, abrir un nuevo mundo para los video juegos de DIGIMON, que se estancaron, no te prives de un gran título.… Expand

   This game is a mind blowing piece of art. The generous developers are charging a mere $60 for this art piece. Are you freaking kidding me? IThis game is a mind blowing piece of art. The generous developers are charging a mere $60 for this art piece. Are you freaking kidding me? I should have payed more for a game like this. One would assume we would get an experience akin to Pokemon, since Digimon is an enhanced Pokemon, but the developers were too smart for that. The developers are such hard workers, they made the anime in the start a whole 5 minutes. All of the other cutscenes are also great, in a brilliant expression of this game's excellence. The story is biblical. The combat is well made and brilliantly designed. The graphics made me cry due to their beauty when I first saw them. It looks better than a handcrafted painting from Leonardo Da Vinci. The physics are beyond lifelike.
   
   There is no multiplayer. That is not a problem, because the replay value of this game more than makes up for it. Another great quality of this game is that, all of the characters speak in their original Japanese voice actors, and yet the devs still only charged 60 dollars for this art piece. This incredible generosity enlightens me. I recommend this game to all my friends, family, and more.… Expand

   This is an excellent return of Digimon to gaming in the world and while some may feel the Visual Novel aspect overshadows the game play, IThis is an excellent return of Digimon to gaming in the world and while some may feel the Visual Novel aspect overshadows the game play, I feel it is a good balance between the two styles. A melding of visual novel storytelling and tactical RPG battling.
   
   If you're here because you are considering buying this game, watch the trailers, read the reviews on Steam and perhaps catch a YouTube video (sans spoilers) or a livestream before you buy and make sure it is something you want.… Expand

   Acusing people who actually didnt like of review bombing is not alright, i hope someone who is thinking about buying this game actually knowsAcusing people who actually didnt like of review bombing is not alright, i hope someone who is thinking about buying this game actually knows that its 90% VN and not that much of tactical fights or fights overall, u are taken by the hand even on hard mode, the marketing was focused on fighting while the "gameplay" if u can een call it that, is mostly clicking through text way more than any other digimon game, there is not petting or fightings, which are the 2 most important things in Digimon Games or franchise in general, This game made a poor effort in telling as that it was 90% VN, i have played VN before with minigames, and where much more enjoyable than this, a company that only makes games for their current fans will crash, further more digimon fans are so used to not getting good games that they are resiliant to make honest reviews without removing the fan child they have inside, i have played every single digimon game, but when a game is not good it must be said. This game is selling at a big company game price at 50-60 USD depending on where u buy it, if it is in steam or another app, this game is no where near cyber slouths thats initial price at launch and current price is way below 60 usd, probably arround half. if u can get this game on december at a price tag of 20 usd as VN u can get anywhere else then it is a nice story to read with some minigames(fights) but at the tag price of 60 usd is way of target, and probably thats the reason why a big game didnt went higher than 6k users at launch on a weekend.
   
   It is shown that this game havent been put any effort or love, what u saw in the trailers are most of the fights in the game, not that many more.. Wait for Decemeber and get it with a discount, any other way, just Dont. Luckily i got a refund even that i played the 4 hours of introduction , so Thanks to Steam .… Expand
