Dragon Blaze stands tall as one of the best shumps the Nintendo Switch currently has to offer, even eighteen years after its arcade release.
It's quite simply brilliant, addictive and another must-have shmup you need to add to your growing digital arcade Switch collection.
Simply put, Dragon Blaze is one of Psikyo's best shmups. They clearly make much better vertical shoot 'em ups than they do horizontal and what we have here is a shining example of a challenging classic arcade shooter that's definitely worth downloading.
Dragon Blaze shows us that despite the years that have gone by, shoot'em up never goes out of style and, despite its simplicity and short duration, we can enjoy it as it was the first time. With a bombproof gameplay and cooperative mode, it’s an interesting proposal for both new players and veteran ones.
