It’s difficult to speak more without delving into the story or spoiling. Event [0] is a unique experience and worthy anyone’s time. Especially for those interested into the sci-fi genre and has a fascination of artificial intelligence.
This is an awesome game compared to other indie games. The AI sometimes does not answer you correctly but the story is too good that you can just ignore these bugs.
That is just perfect! I really impressed by this game.
It's just for those who know about Stanley Kubrick and one of the greatest film "Space Odyssey 2001".
Unconventional mix of first-person experience with traditional text games. Event [0] isn‘t the adventure in the truest sense of the word, but rather an experience allowing you to enjoy interaction with artificial intelligence. In principle, it is a simple matter that offers depth and philosophical plane. Gameplay is definitely not for everyone.
Event[0] is an interesting game with a very interesting concept. Think of it like HAL 9000, but much more limited in scope and threat. The novelty wore off for me within the first 30 minutes of playing, and unfortunately, then began to look at it more like a game to complete rather than an experience that needed to be seen.
My initial fascination with Event[0] quickly turned into disappointment. How am I supposed to build a relationship with an AI that would fail to trick a four-year-old in the Turing test? What’s more, the game lasts for 3 hours at most. It does offer various endings, but you influence them in the final stage of the game. [12/2016, p.73]
I really liked it.
Intelligent, very good "sci-fiction" atmosphere.
I liked to write "orders" to AI terminals ! very original.
Also the AI chats.
It was very fun and relaxing to play !
It's very interesting game, but don't get attached to what they advertised as the best way to communicate with in-game AI. If you type something that the AI was not programmed to answer, she gives you answer suggesting that she knows what you want to know, but won't tell, that's all.
SJW warning, You start with "are you he, she or THEY" then the game answers "YOU WERE VERY PARTICULAR ABOUT IT".
Strong hatred for the game already but I push through the 10 min reeducation seminar featuring hippies, they, xem, xir and manilla war child + rio de jainero slumdog then the game takes all that info and dumbs it, never using it again.
Then you're stuck with a chatbot of very low quality and boring puzzles. Linear, short, stupid.
HATED IT.
This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Imagine a game focusing around an AI. Now imagine that AI doesn't work, not even a bit. That's Event[0] in a nutshell. I prefer to play 30 hours of Ride to Hell: Retribution than play this game.
