    This cute, heartwarming little game lets you step into the shoes of Haru, a 19-year-old transgender woman in Japan, during her friend Manami'sThis cute, heartwarming little game lets you step into the shoes of Haru, a 19-year-old transgender woman in Japan, during her friend Manami's birthday trip to the hot springs. It took me about an hour to play out all of the scenarios, unlocking the game's seven endings, and by the end of it I felt that I'd gained some understanding of Haru's background and struggle living as a young trans woman in Japan.

    The art style is simple but charming, and the melodic, retro music fits the meditative pace of this slice of life.

    The hot springs with their gender-segregated baths prove daunting for Haru, but the support and understanding of the other characters ensures a positive outcome in most cases, especially if you choose to have Haru overcome her social anxiety and open up.
