Boasting another large assortment of popular tunes, Volume 3 also sidesteps the pitfalls of its predecessor with the inclusion of duets—a seemingly simple addition that changes the entire face of the game and elevates the series to a new high.

Better song quality and duets are what make Volume 3 a must have for fans of the series. And don't forget, this is a heck of a party game to pull out at your kids birthday party, or if you're just having some friends over.
The inclusion of a duet is the furthest thing from a gimmick. It's an evolution that makes a party title even more appropriate for a quick get together.
A handful of tracks will have you scratching your head, wondering why they were included, but you’ll forget all about that once you’re centerstage, and the beat drops for Michael Jackson’s “Beat It.”
The idea of including duets in Karaoke Revolution seems like a natural one given the scope of the title itself. Hell, some of the most emotionally engaging or memorable songs are duets. However, the poor execution of the feature, along with the lack of innovation for the title, makes Volume 3 much less appealing than the previous games in the series.
Thankfully this game includes a pitch meter which measures the input pitch against the actual pitch and shows the singer the difference (i.e. if he or she is flat or sharp).
