Nov 9, 2020Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is another success in the series. We love that it’s starting to look back at older, more classic elements of the franchise and finding ways to reimplement them in an ever-evolving, fresh feeling new game.
-
Nov 9, 2020Assassin's Creed Valhalla is still an Assassin's Creed title, but the one that manages to left behind some questionable things from the last two games, all the while presenting us with a much greater direction, a really dense map, engaging plot, and a breathtaking setting.
-
Nov 9, 2020With some gameplay systems that are more polished than ever in the saga, Assassin's Creed Valhalla rises as a worthy continuation of the stele that Origins created a few years ago and that, in the other hand, respects the essence that the franchise has always preserved. inside itself. Therefore, we are facing a title that will be able to captivate both the most veteran players and those who enjoy the new formulas of the series.
-
Nov 9, 2020Overall, Ubisoft has created a very entertaining Vikings game, one that will only get better with patches for the visual weirdness. As long as you don't expect Assassin's Creed Valhalla to be like past AC games where the Order is tantamount to everything the main character does, AC fans will find plenty to enjoy.
-
Nov 10, 2020It is undeniable that the series is growing, and it’s admirable that the developers are willing to try new things. Overall, the experience works in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s not a perfect fit, yet, but there’s promise in the series future if they continue to head in a direction that has more RPG elements, and options for a direct approach. It also feels like a proof of concept that they can continue to attempt virtually any setting with a decent chance of success.
-
Nov 9, 2020Lots of story elements and a varied mission design make for a worthy follow-up to Odyssey. Valhalla plays well, doesn't solely rely on grinding to pad out its runtime and offers a world that's genuinely amazing to look at. It ain't particularly innovative, though... feeling more like another entry in a franchise that's slowly heading towards a creative standstill.
-
Nov 9, 2020Vikings may be a promising starting point, but Valhalla is aimless and bloated beyond recognition, making for a dull and par for the Norse installment in the franchise.
