Overall, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues hits home with me and I am sure it will hit home with the other lovers of the Karate Kid universe. The show on Netflix has been amazing and this game is amazing as well. The music and mechanics are great and give you a real feel for the 80’s nostalgia trip.

Some minor flaws aside, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues is one of the best beat-em-up out there, easily surpasses Raging Justice and I think can rightly be proud to call itself the second-best beat-em-up’s on the PS4. The Johnny Lawrence of the gaming world.

An excellent 2D brawler with a rich combat system, many and diverse playable characters, a big campaign and very welcomed RPG elements and character progression.

Cobra Kai doesn’t do anything new, but there is a lot of fun to be had here, particularly in co-op.

In sum, Cobra Kai: The Saga Continues is a better game than you would expect, with a lot more gameplay elements than just about any brawler I have ever played. While most of these elements are done well, there are a few glaring, persistent flaws that temper the experience dramatically. Still, for fans of the TV show or for brawler aficionados, it’s worth checking out.

It is difficult to objectively rate this Cobra-Kai in an industry where this type of game has completely disappeared from the shelves. The idea of honoring the series in a beat'em up tribute to the 80s was good; unfortunately, the developers did not take advantage of the many generations that followed to bring the wind of freshness and novelty necessary to the quality of the title. We end up with a game that could very well have been released many years ago despite some undeniable qualities that provide a certain playing pleasure. For this result, it is difficult to want to spend forty euros on it. Cobra Kai remains a far from unpleasant vent that might suit fans of the genre or series. It's up to you to see if you want to pay the price.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga is a very nostalgic game, but not in the way you might think. It's not that it's a beat 'em up, nor that it's based on an ageing franchise, or even because it looks like it should be able to run on a Sega Saturn. No, it's nostalgic because this a licensed video game that is fairly terrible, using its branding as a smokescreen to hide a multitude of problems from an unwitting buyer until it's far too late. It's just like the good old days. If this was 1991 then Cobra Kai would have been published by Ocean Software.

So it is the best possible game for Cobra Kai. You will not regret purchasing this on steam, it is a blast, especially the local co-op. There also some fun references like the prep boy characters being named after ross, chandler and joey from friends, or the security guards being names Jake, Charles, terry, and (Rosa) Diaz after Brooklyn nine nine characters. I have been playing this game non-stop since I got it. Expand

The story is okay enough, with some of the show actors coming to voice like hawk, demetri, and johny. And both the Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do storylines are worth a playthrough. 7.5/10 Expand

The levels might have cool backgrounds but in the end, are very bland. There is still fun to be had though. Even though this game is Cobra Kai I don't really think that playing the game. It is just a subpar game that is worth $20. The genre of beat-em-ups isn't really my favorite. I can only play up to an hour a day before I get insanely bored of the gameplay. But that is just me, if you like beat-em-ups and you see the game at 50% off, definitely buy it. Expand

It's a very poorly done streets of rage/ final fight clone.
If they stuck with martial arts it could have been passable but it has stupid ice moves and flaming eagles like something out of Mortal Kombat!
Don't buy this game, the show deserves more than this cheap rubbish!
