Once again, the Horsemen offer us a masterpiece. Darksiders III, even with all the fear and skepticism behind the game, has managed to become a superb hack ‘n’ slash. The personal journey of Fury against the Seven Deadly Sins is simply amazing, and everything is set towards the future for Strife to come and end this awesome epic.

Not quite the triumphant return long-time fans had hoped for but nevertheless, Darksiders III is an enjoyable and worthy entry in the series. The biggest issue here is that newcomers will likely find Fury and her world a little too unwelcoming. To those of us who have already shared the trials of War and the journey of Death, delivering Fury’s wrath is a satisfying if somewhat guilty pleasure.

Darksiders III suffers from some technical shortcomings but it presents an enjoyable experience at heart with a good story that sets the series on the right path for a finale that could be great if done probably.

Darksiders 3 feels like coming home for fans, and combat is a blast - but it can be hard to appreciate the good when dealing with a laundry list of technical stumbles.

Severe performance problems and a misguided implementation of Souls mechanics in Darksiders 3 tarnish an otherwise perfunctory, but at least occasionally enjoyable return to one of last generation's better action series.

Beneath the mountain of bugs, shoddy design and inconsistent performance, there’s a genuinely good adventure waiting to be experienced in Darksiders III. Unfortunately, its numerous problems are more than just annoying in nature. They’re quite simply…apocalyptic.

The game is a nightmare to play through, with an unlikable protagonist, a chugging frame rate, and a mountain of bugs. It’s completely and utterly broken, but even when it works (which is almost never), it amounts to nothing more than a below average hack-and-slash with some decent puzzles.

I was really expecting to be let down by this game based of all the negative reviews, but this turned out to be one of my favorite games thisI was really expecting to be let down by this game based of all the negative reviews, but this turned out to be one of my favorite games this year. Im a big fan of the first 2 games and I really enjoy how they change up the game play for each one. I would rank the series 1, 3, 2 so far. I felt Furry was a cool character and she has a good story to prove herself among the other horsemen, but I still like war and death more as the main character. I really enjoyed the darksouls play style which really added a much needed difficulty level to the series. The metroid level design was a great addition as well, no maps just a compass to direct you to the next sin. On the way to defeating each sin there are many secrets and collectibles to find that make you want to search every corner of the map. The environments look amazing definitely best in the series. The gameplay is tight and well responsive the dodge window is well done and once you get the timing down on enemies you will be smashing your way through them. The boss battles are all amazing and remember-able, each sin has their own unique move set and personality based on their names. Fury will unlock 4 different weapons besides her main whip throughout her journey and each one has their own unique moves set. The only reason I didnt give Darksiders 3 a 10 was because the loading times while playing would pause you mid whatever your doing and load. Also the frame rates would drop low while in a heavily populated area. I bought Darksiders 3 on sale for $20 and to me was worth every penny, I would of gladly paid more. Expand

Esse jogo é bem fraquinho, não consegui gostar muito dele, apesar de achar que a ideia é ótima, confio que poderiam produzir um jogo melhor.

omfg. it could've been a darksiders game but so badly wanted to be another cheap souls like ripoff that wants you to think that kitingomfg. it could've been a darksiders game but so badly wanted to be another cheap souls like ripoff that wants you to think that kiting bulletsponges is fun. reaction times to your input are souls like garbage bc you have to finish you whip animation or just need another half second to actually dodge. and who told the developers that third person is great for fighting whilst being surrounded? right, dark souls, because we let masochists define the gaming landscapes. oh and about the dark souls stuff: no parry, no block, no riposte, just a dodge with the same annoying bullet time last second evade attack that does LESS DAMAGE than an actual attack. oh and every encounter has just one line. it doesn't get switched up. visiting vulgrim for the second time already annoys the **** out of me, because he essentially only has 5 lines in total. so you go buy there and you're already annoyed af. if i wanted bland, tedious and annoying cookie cutter tasks i would go work for the government and not spend money on a personality-deprived, squinting, knock-kneed fat-roll latina that throws cotton balls at everyone while fainting when she gets hit by a couple herself.
