Lost in Random is a game with a great fantasy story, an unforgettable art direction, an original battle system, and details that will make you smile at various times. It is a must-see title for anyone who has grown up reading and listening to fantasy stories and an adventure game that everyone should try.

Lost in Random basically accomplishes evereything it needs to: it tells an intriguing and original story that mixes innovative gameplay systems, it is not afraid to gamble and it pays off in almost every little thing. This is a game worth considering, both for how fun it is and how interesting it manages to remain.

Aside from a couple of noticeable dips with less fleshed-out areas in the final act, Zoink held my attention for my entire 11-hour playthrough. That counts for a lot. If given the chance, I’d love to return to the world of Random in a possible sequel to Lost in Random that smooths over some of these first-game-in-a-new-series pitfalls.

Lost in Random is a very interesting game, built around an original concept and tied to it until the end, for better or for worse.

Like a toss of the dice, Lost in Random can be truly inspired at times, and a little underwhelming at others.

Lost in Random offers a highly enjoyable experience with rich, dynamic gameplay and an interesting plot. While it's weighed down by repetitive fetch quests and some bugs, it's easily still one of the most charming games I've played so far.

I have not completed all the side missions and have collected several collectibles, reaching 60% of the trophies. The timer marks exactly 10 hours, which can easily double if you aim for extreme completeness, perhaps with a second run.
A little big game, a bizarre adventure, steeped in friendship, with a Gothic-Burtonian flavor. Lost in Random has some flaws that are the son of its independent nature, well masked by the narrative and by some visual gimmicks that hide its technical limits. A particular combat system, which mixes elements already seen but giving it a unique character and a world to explore full of characters, secondary missions and secrets. A little too long and some situations that are repeated a little too often do not, however, undermine the general experience, which will make you curiously advance towards the discovery of your destiny.

Lost in Random is a stylish fairytale-inspired action-adventure game set in the vivid, wilful, grim world resembling those from famousLost in Random is a stylish fairytale-inspired action-adventure game set in the vivid, wilful, grim world resembling those from famous fictional universes like Alice in Wonderland. The game pushes on quite thrilling, intriguing plot while staying true to the traditions of storytelling (e.g. the story is told by the narrator, the protagonist is followed by her trusty companion, every character is charismatically whimsical in their own, unique way). The story is accompanied by a worthy soundtrack that fits the game’s dark fairytale vibe quite perfectly. Lost in Random’s world is divided into six locations, the cities of Random, a gothic queendom run by its despotic Queen. The player starts in the first one, Onecroft, and is tasked to traverse the game’s world to reach Sixtopia, the sixth and last town, the capital of Random, in order to find someone Even, the protagonist, is seeking for. The game uses free-roam mechanic, which means that each location is able to be explored freely until the player reaches the point in the main story where they travel to the next one. Numerous side quests are found while stranding around Random, though not so much of them are actually worth completing. Early in the game, Even encounters Dicey, an anthropomorphic die who is important to both narrative and gameplay. Being a worthy representative of the genre, Lost in Random successfully balances its gameplay between combat and environmental puzzles, with the former explicitly being its disadvantage. The combat is repetitive, with your enemies generally being identical (or almost identical) from fight to fight, leaving you with the same tactics, feelings, experience. Given the specifics of Even’s combat abilities, the battles are not only repetitive, but also very time-consuming. All these consequences make the combat more and more monotonous, tedious and frustrating as the game moves on. It’s also necessary to mention that while Lost in Random’s art style definitely is stunning, the actual graphics of the game definitely are of a poor quality (the game looks more like a PS3 title). Given PS5 version looks much better, according to the footage everyone may find on the Net, it’s a fine example of how underestimation of older consoles (intentional or not) may lead to an absolute absurd, when the developers hold their new titles back, even if they are obviously not that pretentious and might run on current-gen without major compromises, probably in order to ensure their new breakthrough-in-graphics game won’t explode the ‘outdated’ hardware. Lost In Random
    An interesting adventure
Lost in Random is creepy, it’s a 10 hour long card based action adventure game where you play as Even, out to rescue her sister Odd as they’ve been split up on Odds 12th birthday, where all the kids in town roll a die to figure out hwere in Random they’ll ive, she rolls a 6 and is swept away to live with the queen..
Along your way you meet a dice, and you set off an adventure to git the dice more pits so it cann roll higher numbers, to eventually get to the kingdom of 6…
youll also get cards to build of a deck of 15… these cards help in a variety of ways during combat, essentially youll hit weakspots with slingshots, fill up a card so you can roll dicey, the number you roll is how many action points you get to play a card such as having a word, or throwing out a bomb.. even healing.. just to name a few.. and youll do a mixture of combat and exploring these creapy tim burton like towns solving the problems of its residence to help you move on.. .
The greatest aspct of lsot in random is its world building.. I loved living in thise creepy little land.. meeting its colorful cast of charcters.. however I felt like eventually it all just became too much.. I felt like I was mostly sitting through dialog, waiting for my turn to choose a dialog option that didn’t change anything in the world or its gameplay, it was just an artificial choice wasting my time, pretending it was important.. causing me to get bored about halfway through, just wanting to push forward and explore the world, but instead these charcters just wanted to talk and talk and talk.. I stopped caring.. skipping dialog just trying to move on, go to the next section to throw down some dice and mess enemies up, til that too became a bore.. combat here just isn’t satisfying, it’s a novel idea at first reminding me a bit of kingdom hearts unchained memories, I love the idea of deck building for combat, but with how slow cards come out, and how annoying it is to aim for weak spots on enemies in general in terms of all video games, it just felt like a slog at times.. Something I feel that could be fixed with these shtos of my slingshot at least doing a little damage, encouraging me to use cards to be more powerful rather than rely on them to progress forward..
Overall I appreciate the world of Lost in Random, the characters are crazy, the world is intriguing, and there are many great life lessons to be taken, but the pacing from the combat to the story is just awful, its bad and brought this nearly great game down in my eyes.. not by much.. but I found myself noticeable liking the game less and less the more I played it…

However, the "Master Puzzler" trophy was glitched for me, as I completed all puzzles in the 1st playthrough, but didn't earn the trophy. I had to start a 2nd playthrough, completing all puzzles in 1 session which then earned me that trophy.
