A smart, original and beautifully crafted small game that will challenge your nerves and your skill. It's maybe a bit on the short side and its core mechanic can be polarizing, but you should definitely try the demo and, if you like it, you should buy it immediately.
Enjoyed it thoroughly.
There are no throw away enemies, so very little wasted time. It has a wonderful soundtrack and fun mechanics with a pretty art style. From the beginning it doesn't choke out your interest with a boring story, you just fight bosses with a bow and arrow. Just one arrow, you need to pick it up. Avoid enemy attacks and shoot the weak point of the boss.
Fairly challenging.
The game provides ultimately hard ànd fun boss fighting, no npc, no quest, no word just an arrow and your skill, really challenging play through but not for inpatient player as you might need to revive several time before finding a boss's weakness and how it attack before defeating it. No storyline make it doesn't suit for people that want to find out about mystery in the game.
95 percent of what makes up Titan Souls is boss battles, and fortunately, that's the 95 percent of the game that Acid Nerve nails. Its story is nearly non-existent, and its on the short side, but the quality of the battles against the many Titans mostly make up for Titan Souls shortcomings.
It requires patience, a keen eye, reflexes and skill - and the ability to accept that you will die a lot. And sometimes it will seem unfair. And sometimes you will want to throw your controller at the nearest hard surface. But Titan Souls is a fantastic game; a fine example of what is possible with a simple idea, stripped-down controls and a dense atmosphere backing it all up.
Titan Souls can be repetitive, difficult and frustrating, but it can also be the kind of video game in which one solid arrow shot can make a player happy for half an hour.
Titan Souls strikes me as a time-wasting boss-rush that constantly tried my patience and delivered no enjoyable or profound climax—it just peters out and credits roll.
VOTO 100
The whole idea that you can kill a boss with only one hit with an arrow(only if you manage to hit a weak point), and that he can kill you with one hit too, it is something interesting and new. Yes, this will be a difficult boss rush for many players, but it would be interesting and could be advised. But can you ever know how tired and irritated I was by this endless running through those huge and totally empty locations. Slooooow running.
In general, it's kind a cool game, but become tedious even before the boss fight, and not compensating by something else, like the story. A little raw project, in my opinion. But much better than for me, it will be good to ardent lovers of pain and suffering. And I might come back to finish the achievements.
a fun, hard as hell, boss-rushing game, with stunning pixel-art visuals, yet a little repetitive and annoying with some not-so-great bosses that break the rhytm of the gameplay
I really wanted to love this game because of how much I liked shadow of the colossus, but it fell pretty far short of my expectations. I found myself getting super frustrated with some of the bosses. I think my problem with the game is just that the core mechanic (shooting the arrow) is too janky to perform predictably, and that meant that it took a long time to probe for any weak spots or to even just beat the boss even if you knew what the weakspot was.

Now scattered among the fallout and guarded by the idle titans tasked with their care, a singular hero armed with a solitary arrow is once more bringing together shards of the Titan Soul in a mission for truth and power.
