Sep 5, 2016MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death is a serviceable dungeon crawler that newcomers to the dungeon crawler craze can pour dozens of hours into. The appeal to genre veterans is going to be far lower due to the lack of a substantial plot and the underutilised battle system, but the game functions wonderfully as addictive comfort food.
-
Sep 19, 2016Competent, yet forgettable.
-
Sep 21, 2016MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death has some interesting systems in place that stop what is a pretty gentle trek through the dungeons from getting tedious. Although the usual mobs won’t slow you down too much, the bosses require actual tactics and even if you do die there is no penalty for doing so. Just don’t expect to like the characters or what little story there is.
-
Sep 6, 2016Feels like it wanted to be a genre epic but had to settle for merely ‘alright’.
-
Sep 23, 2016A repetitive game that has a boring story and pointless with a horrible characters. Only for fans of this genre.
-
Oct 12, 2016While it manages to offer decent characters and an interesting battle system, MeiQ: Labyrinth Of Death is a disappointment overall. With so many strong entries in the dungeon-crawl genre already, one that only goes half the distance is impossible to recommend.
-
Sep 5, 2016MeiQ is a low quality title whose flaws permeate through every twist and turn of this dungeon crawler.
