I loved being able play the game's short missions on the go, I loved how replayable the levels were with their 3-star ratings, I loved seeing the aesthetic of the original expanded in a whole new way. In short: I loved SteamWorld Heist.

SteamWorld Heist is one of the most memorable experiences I have had on the Vita to date. It is a perfectly portable tactical turn based adventure which will see you return again and again to nab just one more hat or give that particularly tough challenge mission another go. It is a shining example of what makes handheld gaming great!

Steamworld Heist is a package full of brightness: addictive gameplay, superb presentation, hours of strategic action, fun characters and a complete space adventure. Now the game looks better than ever on HD platforms and PS Vita.

Steamworld Heist kept me engaged during the 17 hours it took for me to finish the game. It has pretty deep game mechanics and a very entertaining design. I look forward to more games in this universe.

The wonderful setting, the amusingly unique characters, and the excellent turn-based combat kept me hooked.

Keeps things simple in a world where turn based strategy games are getting way too complicated. Finally somebody made a Steampunk game with visuals that didn’t make me say “yuk”. Runs great on Vita. The action is pronounced, the dialogue is witty, and the lite rogue mechanics with deep gameplay are all beautifully made to be played and replayed. I suggest elite difficulty - the advances you make are really rewarding at that setting. Expand

It's designed so you spend very little time in menu screens, but gives you characters which play very differently and offer you plenty of choices in strategy. The former, and in-mission autosaves, make the game perfect for portable play.

It's animated very well, has good, humorous dialogues that make its characters likable, and a lot of polish overall.
