You simply can't ask for more out of an action game. Mission accomplished. Sonic is born anew. [Dec 2006; Score revised in Jan issue due to long load times.]
Next-gen Sonic is awkward, dogged by awful levels and a terrible hub system, plus the basic action never gets that challenging. When you die, it’s because you couldn’t see, or you fell off by accident. It's hugely frustrating.

My opinion like this game because it tells a good story and the game fun at stages but i respect everyone's opinion on this game either if they don't like it or not

Sonic the Hedgehog may share its name with the Genesis original, but this game is even more broken than most of the other recent Sonic games have been.
Every installment has us hoping for a return to glory, but each one further craps on the hedgehog's legacy. The redeeming qualities here are few and far between, and it's just plain not fun.
The consistently poor controls of Sonic’s 3D outings make it seem like Sonic Team has convinced itself that this is how this aspect of the franchise should rightly be, and everyone else should just learn to deal with it. [Christmas 2006, p.82]
SEGA's decision to rush one of its most beloved franchises to the next-gen market has ended in a broken product that does not even deserve a rental.
It isn't as bad as I expected it to be, but I definetly can see the problems with it. Silver's boss fights was one of my least favorite parts, because if you get within 20 feet of himhe grabs you and slams you into the wall. The problem is if he gets to close to where he throws you then you can't get out and die. My other least favorite parts are the auto-scrolling running levels, because you barely have any control, and one wrong jump or move can mess it all up. But other than that, it's alright.

tbh sonic 06 is really **** very buggy and got alot of glitches aswell levels are really not that fun overall not worth picking up
