An excellent sci-fi SRPG that will provide countless hours of fun once you get over its initially intimidating scope.
The Trese Brothers have done an excellent job porting this from PC, and none of its wonderful depth and complexity has been lost in translation. Like FTL, this feels as though it was made to be played on an iPad. Whether you decide to work as a trader, explorer, glorified taxi driver, or become a pirate yourself, the sheer scale and open-endedness of Star Traders: Frontiers is never less than inspiring.
Star Traders: Frontiers's ambitious variety and depth of systems allows you to have a unique experience each and every time you play it.
Star Traders: Frontiers achieves what many games attempt and can't quite accomplish: naturalistic procedurally generated content, interconnected game systems, and strong narrative possibilities existing within the chaotic environment of said procedural generation.
At times Star Traders: Frontiers has so much going on that it feels impossible to keep up with but that is also part of the game's beauty. It offers a truly open environment where the possibilities are endless, providing players with a good time while they're on the go.
