One of the titans of the golden decade of Lucas Arts, Dark Forces was one of the Star Wars games that marked audiences and set an example among developers. This remastered version is a near-perfect tribute to what many consider to be one of the greatest video games of all time.
Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster show how remaster an old game showing respect to the players.
This remaster took a quality game that had aged very well and brought it to a modern audience with enough tweaks to keep the gameplay the same, only prettier and better to play. There are some flaws that haven't changed since 1995, but it's still a game that fans shouldn't miss.
A great remaster of a beloved, if now very old school, FPS that is handled with great care and attention.
A little overpriced, but very nice new edition of a real shooter classic! Retro fans will get their money's worth, even if the limited storage system may deter some newcomers.
Star Wars Dark Forces is a product of its time, with decent visual remastering, but the gameplay sadly doesn’t hold up.
