It won't make you stand up and cheer, but it will keep you busy - like a good game should.
The game flow is very nice, the different levels seem huge, the animated effects are well rendered, and the game offers a nice variety of foes.
The idea behind this game is intriguing, but the execution is way off the mark. [Mar 2002, p.91]
It seems almost impossible to hit enemies when they are two close to you. Funny, as I remember it, light sabers weren't used from a mile away.
Your worst enemy is not the Dark Side but the simple act of trying to jump from one platform to another. The isometric perspective makes it difficult to judge distance and position, and the actual act of jumping is marred by touchy controls.
The game is packed with cheap hits, such as enemies who shoot at you from off-screen... Poor controls. Ack! [Spring 2002, p.43]
