    Once the appeals to nostalgia have been set aside, we are left with one disappointing and incompetent work which fails at being a proper tribute to that era of gaming - unreliable controls, frustrating gameplay and poor level design make Avenger Bird a game that simply does not fulfill any of its objectives.
