    Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition is an excellent port that invites us to play and that manages to make us forget even its low resolution in handheld mode. A must-see experience for lovers of management games and scientifically incorrect dinosaurs.

    Provided you can overlook plenty of gaps in logic (not to mention hideous graphics and lousy voice acting), there’s something to be said for Jurassic World Evolution. It may not be the greatest amusement park sim or city builder the Switch has to offer, but it’s solid enough in its own right that it’s at least pretty fun time.

    Jurassic World Evolution: Complete Edition comes packed with content even for the most ardent of Jurassic Park fans. Frontier has an eye for detail and although there's a small compromise in terms of total dinosaur population the payoff is a surprisingly smooth experience.

    Jurassic World Evolution looks great on my TV, and while it’s perfectly serviceable in handheld mode, there’s definitely a graphical hit—everything looks much fuzzier. Depending on what scenario you’re playing in, you’ll hear some famous legacy voices, most notably Jeff Goldblum introducing the game and chiming in every now and then to give a warning about whatever the project division heads are suggesting. I really enjoy Jurassic World Evolution, despite my historical distaste for city/park sims. I’m sure this is mostly due to the dinosaurs themselves, but it’s also not overly complicated.

    Jurassic World Complete Edition is a technical marvel on Switch. Delivering everything in a single package, this version of the game carries with it all three expansion packs, and all of the optional dino packs, making it the most complete version to date. While the undocked version is slightly lower fidelity, it’s a small concession for being able to build your own ill-advised dino park on the go.

    If you are willing to accept technical shortcomings, mainly in certain menus and at ground level, as well as a clearly impoverished aesthetic on Nintendo Switch, you will have, with Jurassic World Evolution - Complete Edition, a solid edition, with intuitive handling. and more than solid lifespan. While docked mode is to be avoided, nomadic mode offers better performance, not always stunning, but stable enough not to spoil the experience.

    Jurassic World Evolution was never a perfect game, but there were some fans of the Jurassic Park franchise that felt it was worth their time. Despite the shallow simulation aspects and repetitive tasks forced on them, many players still enjoyed creating and admiring the various dinosaurs in their park. Because of the poor graphics on the Nintendo Switch version of Jurassic World Evolution, however, there is little here to keep players entertained - and those interested in the premise are better off revisiting its previous platforms instead.

I must say that if it's your first time playing this kind of game, it may be tiresome or boring sometimes, however, when you get used to, it's way funny and entertaining. I must point that, so far, it's kinda blurry on handheld mode, but with every update it seems it's sighly better on hand-held. Docked it looks brilliant, so far, most times it goes 30 FPS but if there are a lot of items onscreen it may go down from 30 to 25, also, rarely, during auto saving, screen may freeze (however it seems it's my TV, not game itself since this does not happen while handheld). If we talk about content, frontier gave us a 120$ game+dlc for 60$< which is quite nice, however we're missing only the Vivid pattern Ankylosaurus skin (which, in my opinion, looks like jungle one). I would have loved some amphibians, Crocs or any aquatic reptiles, as so far we only got Pteranodon as the only non-dino in our parks. There's nothing else I must say about, besides obviously, that it looks like if you we're playing on middle graphics on a PC (720p docked and 540p on hand-held), however if you like the game, on dock graphics aren't gonna be a trouble, on handheld however I recommend taking breaks sometimes since it may be possible that your eyes "feel heavy" since you gotta force vision. But that's all, I really enjoyed it, and if you like park simulations and dinosaurs, I recommend this game.… Expand

    The only real limitations on this version of the game worth noting are:
    -100 dinosaur cap in each park
    - the visuals in handheld mode are not nearly as defined or clear as PC or console. Although blurry it is completely playable and aside from looking for individual dinosaurs in the parks it doesnt cause any issues playing while on the go.    … Expand

The variety of dinosaurs is very good and all the different colours and mutations you can add to boost their rating and other aspects. I like how the three factions in game complemented each other as they all had different ideas and made you go and think in different directions. The voice acting however is not the best but its passable. The gameplay is fun and letting dinosaurs loose on the park can also be fun. I even got a bit panicked when all the carinvores would escape unintentionally and you have to act fast to try and contain it. Its a good relaxing game… Expand

    It's incredible how an entire genre city-builders has disappeared due to a recurring trend of releases bearing the same exhausting trends:It's incredible how an entire genre city-builders has disappeared due to a recurring trend of releases bearing the same exhausting trends: unplayable, over-complication of the most basic/simple tasks (ie electricity), minimal tutorials leading to endless hours of youtube videos just to learn the basics. Tropico 6...Cities... I'm talking about you.

    I really wish that any future attempts within the city-builder genre would take one giant step back and merely focus on releasing a game that's playable on it's own, without relying on the gamer to invest hours on youtube. Basic tasks must remain simple and work every time - stop using substations for electricity since this clearly is a recurring problem in game after game (Why?). And for crying out loud, grant your gamers the ability to build over a goddam hill... (in Jurassic world you can't build anywhere since about 80% of the locations you try will have a building conflict... such as a hill).

    Simply put: Jurassic World will be unplayable for 99% of gamers.    … Expand
