The Crew 2 is a beautiful follow-up to the first. It packs a lot of punch inside of it and it’s friendly to all types of gamers. The world is still big, the events are great in number, and it just feels like a fun/simple racing game that you want to play on and off for a long time.
The progress system is getting dull, the rubber band AI keeps the races overly artificially exciting - and these are just two examples of a long list of small to medium-sized quirks. But even if the game is not as perfect as the big role model Forza Horizon, I have the same amount of fun in The Crew 2 as in the open-world racer from Microsoft.
Think its a really good game. One of my favorite games playing with my kid ( 7 years old).
Asa kid its nice and easy todrivearound in the open world and try out all the vehicles.
For grown ups och teenagers its fun to play against the ai. Diffrent difficulties. A lot of missions and acomplicment. Always something new going on.
Now days really cheap andyou get alot for the money. Try it!
The Crew 2 addresses some complaints from the original game, however not to the point where the concerns are completely eradicated. There are some clear improvements such as a larger open world, a better focus and the inclusion of new racing disciplines by air and water. However, the rubber banding AI and lack of multiplayer content keeps the series from hitting its potential.
The Crew 2 has the whiff of a game that might become something wonderful in a year’s time, after numerous patches and additions. But right here, at the beginning, it doesn’t do enough.
5.6 ovr is definitely lower than expected. A wide Variety of Vehicles, More activities and Events Than I've ever seen in a racing game before, Fun Competitive modes, Decent Customisation and a driving experience that is very easy to get grips on, it also has a very unique idea about it with the addition or planes and boats. However there are many vehicles unavailable due to them being in previous passes or summits and I'm not a fan of that even tho I get the incentive to go into competition or buy the motorpass but I'd rather they either release all the vehicles to buy after some time has passed or remove them entirely. Also the sense of speed you get is very underwhelming you can drive a Hypercar and mistake it for a prius and I don't like how the parts can drastically effect your score on scoring events like stunt events and drifts. Overall a really good game with a great vehicle variety however falls short on the the ovr sense of thrill and many other minor but still present imperfections.
