An adventure that will remind us to The Room games but goes beyond that in terms of scale and ambition, without being expensive.
If you go into the game knowing it is short you can adjust your expectations accordingly. The Guest looks, plays, and sounds great but because of its brevity feels like a easily forgettable brief encounter rather than an overnight stay.

The Guest does drive that mansion-horror vibe quite well, but by the end, you can’t help but feel like you missed something crucial, like Leonov’s past perhaps.
The Guest has a good atmosphere and a clever puzzle design, but feels like its need more contents to be better.
A mysterious and dark adventure, The Guest is a simple but engaging point-and-click based on an interesting premise which develops in an unfortunately predictable plot.
It's an interesting escape room concept, but the gameplay is utterly disappointing. A waste of a good idea.

Summary The Guest is a haunting and claustrophobic first person exploration game where solving puzzles, secrets and riddles is the only way to escape a gloomy hotel room and figure out who’s responsible.
