Measured against the current generation of top tier shooters, UberSoldier II feels a bit thin and predictable, but when you consider the twenty-dollar price tag, it's a lot easier to appreciate all the things that the game gets right.
Any FPS fan should have an easy time enjoying this game – just don’t expect spit-polished perfection.
The game passes ... barely. I would be lying if I didn't say there was some fun hidden in it, but you really have to go in and find it, and most of the time, that's just not enough.
It doesn't redefine what it means to be a quality budget title, but UberSoldier 2 makes good use of its premise.
If the rest of this Nazi shooting galllery had as much flair as its between-level vignettes, UberSoldier II could have secured an uber-spot at the top of the bargain bin. As is, it's much closer to the bottom. [Dec 2008, p.58]
