    In short, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered offers the opportunity to enjoy a great video game of the past generation in 4k, if you haven't played it yet through backward compatibility. The strong point of Rogue is the story of Shay Patrick Cormac which is one of the most interesting in the series. In addition, it completes the events of the American trilogy and connects it with what will happen later in Unity. However, it still has the flaws that it already had in its launch in 2014. For example, a very bad AI.

    Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is a modest remaster but a good one. While some other options would’ve been appreciated to prioritise framerate over resolution, the game itself still stands up four years on. It’s missing some of the bells and whistles that games like Origins have since introduced, but it’s unique premise and concept means it’s an experience most Assassin’s Creed fans shouldn’t miss.

    Though it fails to satisfyingly remaster the game's visuals, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered nevertheless brings the original game to the Xbox One with perfect performance and every feature that made it great in the first place.

    If you’re a more casual fan of the series then this is only the fourth-best Assassin’s Creed on current-gen hardware, and there are other, stronger open-world games around if you just want more of this kind of thing. It’s great to see Rogue return looking so good, but it seems destined to remain a side-story, not a classic chapter in the saga.

    The visual rework may not be the best we've seen, but this 2018 Assassin's Creed Rogue edition is a true opportunity for all the players who missed the game in 2014.

    Rogue is very good at connecting multiple Assassin's Creed-games. The battle between the Assassins and the Templars is very well written.

    Rogue felt like a throwback when it was originally released alongside the next-gen Assassin's Creed Unity. This same feeling accompanies this remastered version. After the significant advancements made to the series by last year's Origins, Rogue second outing feels equally dated and mistimed. Ironically for the series, Rogue Remastered proves that going back in time isn't always fun.

Игра с идеальным балансом морских сражений и приключений на суше. В отличие от того же Чёрного Флага здесь морские просторы по большей части окутаны льдом, а множество островов имеют свой оригинальный ландшафт и квесты, в отличие от той же четвёртой части. Тот самый случай когда игру хочется пройти от и до, потому как затягивает на любых этапах будь то основная ветка, баталии на воде или допзадания для прокачки способностей персонажа. Да конечно многое взято из предыдущих частей, но если это интересно и работает зачем что-то менять, тем более что и нового тоже хватает.… Expand

Map is used more and everything is closer so those boring long distance sailings are cut also there is only one big city which I prefer more. Rogue expect that you have already played BF so there aren't too much tutorials or introductions. Just straight into an action. It is shame that it went too fast. It has best story since Revelations but sadly it is too short. It definitely deserved more because those beautiful ice covered lands are not used enough.… Expand

Enemies that suddenly become uncounterable, jumping toward a rope (or branch or whatever) and suddenly going in a completely different direction, attacking someone and suddenly you turn around and start attacking someone behind you, getting stuck on scenery. The list goes on and on. Something that seems new is the bad camera angles. In many combat situations, if you throw someone or otherwise knock them backwards the game zooms in on you. The enemy is off screen and now attacking you and you cannot see them to defend or attack back.

    The remaster, when not showing bugs, is a great replay but the bugs really kill the fun.    … Expand
