    Hideaki Itsuno, my hat goes off to you and your crew. It's only March, and yet Devil May Cry 5 is another clear Game of the Year contender. The silly arguments on whether the original DMC or DmC is better can stop now, because DMC5 is here and it’s bloody brilliant. This is a proper return to form for the series, something that fans of both can get behind.

    Aside from my story gripes with Lady and Trish and my couple of issues with the Devil Breaker, Devil May Cry 5 practically exceeded my expectations. As a fan of the series all the way back to day one, and especially a fan of Devil May Cry 4 and my man dude Nero, Devil May Cry 5 is not only an excellent character action game. It’s also a mostly satisfying end to the story. I’m sure there’s more Devil May Cry to be had from here, but the story that started all the way back 2001 finally feels like a complete work, and that’s a rare treat.

    Devil May Cry 5 is exactly what we’ve come to expect of the series. In fact, if anything it feels like the developers were that terrified of repeating the response to Ninja Theory’s DMC, that they’ve gone overboard on being traditional. But then, with such a slick, enjoyable combat system, and all the witty banter that you could ever want in a game, DMC 5 is a fine way to bring the series roaring back after a decade in limbo.

    For everything Devil May Cry 5 does right, it does something wrong. The good graphics, the fantastic music and the new gameplay ideas are watered down by the weak, uninteresting story and its repetitive experience that will leave the fans with a mediocre experience.

The only con that I have with the game is that it ended too early!!

    I really enjoy this game, good grapichs, good character, good story, good combo.
    The perfomance is really amazing, like 144fps+ at 1080p ultra on my specs.
    I didn't find any bug and that's a good things.
    Overall a really solid hack and slash game from Capcom, im really glad they make the fith DMC. Been playing it since the third.

    Devil May Cry 5 is the ultimate comeback of the series, been one of the most fun games that I have ever played, with simple and fun controls,Devil May Cry 5 is the ultimate comeback of the series, been one of the most fun games that I have ever played, with simple and fun controls, beatifull scenarios and a stunnishing soundtrack Devil May Cry is the most refined hack and slash game of this generation.The narrative is... Ok, it stands on it`s purpouse of being something to complement the game with some nice turns and very charisnathic characters.One thing that I didn`t apreciate too much was the secret mission, because some of then involves doing stuff that cut of the pace of the game, like doing a kind of parkour with V, (that really sucks)but even finding this missions sucks, i leave behind about 3 of then because I really just wanted to get back to the action.
    Abou the characters, V is weird to play and it is the less fun of then, mostly because you need to stay to far from the action, Nero is kind of the protagonist, he is the most hard character to play with, because you need to learn the right timing to use the devil breakers, which are very creative and unique and, Dante,that has a goddam motorcycle.    … Expand

Remaining tight a n responsive at all times, and whenever anybody mentions Capcom two franchises spring to mind immediately, and they are Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. With the brilliance of the new Resident Evil 2 fresh (looking so forward to the new remake of Resident Evil Zero as well. I had very high hopes for Devil May Cry 5 and to say this game reached my expectations and then some would be quite an understatement, My only real complaint is I felt the game was a tad short because I truly enjoyed It so much. From the moment I started the game I knew I was in for an amazing Capcom feast, both the visuals and sound design are wonderful and the accompanying story was a fantastic adventure to say the least. The gameplay is simply some of the best I've experienced from Capcom over the last year. The boss fights are huge and full of challenge and life. In terms of content the game has a decent amount for you to sink your teeth into I just wasn't done when my experience was over. The DMC story mode was a nice addition as well which I think many of the younger players may have missed the epic tale of the DMC series. Can't wait for the next batch from our beloved Capcom in the world of terror and survival.… Expand

Cela reste du « jeu » (?!) presse-bouton à combos (con-bos, cons beaux ?) avec des beaux cons, sortis ici d’un Twilight : poseurs, bling-blings, ridicules… insupportables.

    En outre, ça fatigue le pouce, l’index et la manette et ça fait sa pause et ça prend la pose… toutes les cinq minutes (des fois, toutes les 30 s) pour des cinématiques avec ralentis pour poseurs ; les voix en japonais accentuent le phénomène et la drôlerie pathétiquement beauf de l’ensemble. Notons néanmoins la petite nana « Nico » avec son petit short et ses multiples tatouages dont deux pistolets pointent directement vers son… ah j’adore les Japonais, ils osent tout… mais on peut pas jouer avec « Nico », seulement avec le poseur de base.

    Et pour le reste… eh bien… c’est pas trop vilain et ça tourne à 60 im/s. Mais c’est pas vraiment… beau. Et ça ne suffit pas face à l’ennui qui nous assaille de toutes parts alors qu’on dégomme des démons crabeurks, via une maniabilité déficiente et un système de combat peu clair et fatigant. Franchement, il est temps d’arrêter de produire ces conneries à tambourinage de manette, totalement grotesques et inutiles. Si on veut se faire des démons, on joue à Doom !…    … Expand
