Taking the fundamental concepts of open-world freedom, ambient activity and mission-based gameplay and making them available to multiple players in an incredibly dynamic online world, we offer players the freedom to explore alone or work cooperatively with friends to complete missions. Residents of Los Santos band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V.

You start by creating and developing a unique character from the ground up and can invest in your potential criminal by customizing his or her appearance, improving their stats, owning customized vehicles, purchasing personal property, and taking part in Jobs, Missions and activities that continually open up new opportunities to rise through the criminal ranks.

Grand Theft Auto Online will continually expand and evolve over time with a constant stream of new content, creating the first ever persistent and dynamic GTA game world.

I give Grand Theft Auto V Online a straight up 10.
This is not a biased review. When Grand Theft Auto V came out I was sceptical about it's quality, as I had not previosuly played Grand Theft Auto games, other than Grand Theft Auto IV on occasion, so it was all new to me.
Grand Theft Auto V offers up realistic Graphics, events, players, animals and vehicles. The graphics and attention to detail is amazing. I started out plying the PS3 version and eventually went online and loved it, then a couple weeks ago I bought an Xbox One and the first game I bought on it, you guessed it, Grand Theft Auto V: Xbox One Edition. All I could say when I first got on was just, WOW! There are now more Vehicles, Weapons (Such as Axes, Hammers, and guns), Animals, and customization options.
    I give this 10/10.

The only reason I can't go beyond a 7 is the amount of time swapping between modes or the next leg of a session (i.e. heists). I feel I spend and equal amount of time waiting to queue then getting to play. Expand

Prepare to deal with the Terminators *cough* I mean telepathic killing machines *cough* I mean the cops. Want to earn money? Well you'd better be a social butterfly with a long list of friends to play with, otherwise you can expect to enjoy an endless tidal wave of grief and misery as your hapless random teammates crash vehicles and all but commit suicide left and right. Want to customize your car? Hope you have the stomach for demolition derbies *cough* I mean bumper cars *cough* I mean races. Want a game with better optimization, less loading times, more stable connections, and meaningful replayability? Hah! Screw you! Rockstar has more cars, guns, and clothes to pump out to keep the money sink in play and the whales paying out the a** for shark cards to fast track themselves to even more useless crap.

This game can't possibly die soon enough.
