The West may have long regarded the East as “inscrutable.” In Japan, they save that word for felines, who come off here as reserved, loyal, observant and aloof. On the money, to anybody who’s ever shared a life with a cat. Money well spent, Netflix. Let’s see what else you’ve got.

A very soft movie with wonderful animation, likable characters and a moral dilemma. The main character is morally gray and actually evolves as the movie progresses, her love interest is not a generic character and also evolves and has a big part in the story arc. The supporting cast is charming and lovable, though not very present (which is not inheritly a problem). The lore is not overlapping with the slice of life aspect. If you're looking for lore and exploration of of an expending world in the fantasy genre this movie might not be for you.

A wholesome fantasy built of serene settings and cute animals is more fun when it gets a little wacky, and thankfully A Whisker Away has some left-field ideas to make the tale more magical as it goes along.

Una película con una hermosa estética y una animación modesta pero a la altura de la expectativas que puede brindar a primera vista, al principio puede ser poco emocionante pero a medida que avanza empiezas a sentir cariño por los personajes y terminas atrapado en la historia hasta el final, me gusto mas de lo que esperaba y me siento feliz después de llegar a su conclusión, sin más que opinar.

Cute but also a bit troublesome, I mean it's an animated fantasy story, but still, the obsession theme casts a shadow on the more important issues like depression and the understanding of where and how you're looking for love when you cannot find it at home or with friends. The animation is great and for the most part I was entertained. It will barely stand the test of time, but I still think it was good.

I dont know how I feel about this movie, I felt that the movie was great at the beggining... but the rest of it was confusing and bizzare. And let me talk about the ending, It was so predictable that I knew it since the beggining of the movie Dont get me wrong, I really liked the idea of the movie but not a fan of the final product. And thats why my rating is not high at all

Don't try to be Studio Ghibli when you aren't Studio Ghibli. As a whole movie it just felt way to bizarre to be enjoyable.
