Little of it will surprise the group’s long-time fans (or, as popular parlance now deems them, “stans”) and it will likely spark interested newbies to seek out further information, but Blackpink: Light Up the Sky does a stellar job of introducing Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa as individuals.
Blackpink: Light Up the Sky manages to offer a welcome reminder that even for K-pop's reigning queens, all that glitters isn't always gold.

O documentario também tràs as emocionantes histórias de vida das 4 membros desde a sua infanciâ e a gravação do documentario (2019), e também tràs o começo das suas carreias, desde a saída de seus países natal,treinamento, lançamento e assim por diante. Também numa parte mais descontraída tràs os gostos,estilos,dia a dia,costumes e muito mais de cada membro solo do grupo. O documentario e realmente muito informativo e emocionante,ajudando os fãs que querem acompanhar o grupo até os veteranos que acompanham de pertinho,e alegre,divertido,contraido,atrativo e nunca nos decepciona!

Here you get a clear sense of each member’s personality — all but impossible to find on this month’s “The Album” — and of how the four relate to one another.
While its salute to the artists flicks at the cynical side of their industry, it is less a probing profile than a backstage pass for fans of the band (a.k.a. Blinks) old and new.
What’s left out of Light Up the Sky is a LOT more interesting than anything we’re shown here. It’d have to be. Because even by the standards of “officially approved” pop phenom bios of the Bieber/Miley variety, this is weak tea.
Perhaps in some way for those who could be interested in it, the documentary gives you an idea of the machinery behind a K-Pop group.
Especially from one that has become so famous worldwide, but in general, the end product is only the result of its own marketing.
Why am I saying this? Because people will be hardly speaking about Blackpink again in about 6 or 7 years. Especially if you take into consideration the little commercial life that these groups have in the business.
Therefore, considering that having a documentary only corresponds to the impact they currently have, you can notice yourself by watching it, how little of their story has something meaningful to say.
* I had to listen to their music to get a better idea of what I'm talking about, and what I discovered is that their sound is more inclined towards western markets.
It's not something strange, many of those groups are already doing the same, but musically I didn't find anything impressive.
