It’s too pretty for a midnight showing, but far too gross and skin-crawling for when the sun’s up. It could have either been a wonderful gourmet action-movie meal, or a greasy joyful mess that cult audiences love more than they should. Instead, it’s somewhere in the middle — a pretty good meal that doesn’t measure up to its individual ingredients.
I thought the movie was surprisingly incredible. The way he fights makes sense with him being blind and they kept the same dark, gritty kind of theme. I'm confused by people saying it left the fear behind cause the first one wasn't scary either lol. It's basically how the quiet place 1 and 2 went from thriller to action. This did the same thing. Ya have to watch it, really good.
Where the first film offered genuine scares, this one is suspenseful at best, snicker-worthy at worst, and will beg viewers to recall the time Fonzie got on water skis and tried not to get eaten by a shark.
I highly recommend this home invasion horror/thriller! The child is the only person that views the blind man as a good person in the end and that makes sense because she doesn’t have another reference. Definitely a must see!
disappointing compared to the first one, the movie has driven away from its title and from what it was made initially to be which is a Horror movie, this one is more of an Action movie than Horror, however, it's not a bad Action movie.
I don't know why they made a sequel to this movie and turn the villain into a hero and a family man lol, the writers ruined it and the story is all over the place.
please don't make a third sequel to this movie this is not going to be good, and should have stuck to the first one only.
First, Cruella, and now, The Blind Man. What's with the obsession of turning irredeemable villains into brutal yet lovable anti-heroes? 'Don't Breathe 2' is a cheap way of turning the brilliant first film into another franchise. I mean, Norman's still cool and all, but you need to forget all he did in the first film to follow this new characterization. And don't get me started on the plot: totally ridiculous, especially the second half. Let's hope they leave this man alone once and for all.
