Unsparing in its depiction of violence and carnage, the movie meets an even greater challenge showing the myriad of ways people from every class, culture and creed found the courage and strength to unite and join forces in order to survive.
The finished product is two hours of fist-clenching action, suddenly violent and steadily horrifying.

It's worth Watching this movie, Those emotions can't just be expressed through words

The callousness with which the terrorists operate is palpable and conveyed with a degree of verisimilitude that borders on sadism. Hotel Mumbai is a clockwork thriller, but man, is it hard to watch.
Hotel Mumbai sometimes surrenders to melodrama and action-genre imperatives, and it mixes actual people like Oberoi with fictional composites in a way that strays from the stringent just-the-facts discipline of a docudrama like United 93. But there is value, too, in its subjective approach.
Aussie director Anthony Maras, in his feature debut, brings a Hitchcockian feel for suspense and a documentarian’s eye for detail to the brutal events that transpired over three days in November 2008 when the Islamist militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba initiated an attack on the city of Mumbai.
Too much of what we see feels contrived and ham-handed.
Movie-release schedules are set by studios months in advance, and many are the movie that had the misfortune to open at an inopportune time. But Hotel Mumbai is responsible for myriad other poor creative decisions that make a spectacle of misery.
I really enjoyed this movie and learned a lot of facts of The 2008 Mumbai attack.I respect the heroes at the hotel.Great movie!

Hotel Mumbai is not a bad film but it's the kind of film that will hardly manage to create a remarkable impression in oneself as a viewer.
What I mean by that is that its structure never manages to find a correct voice on how they want to narrate the terrible real events with which the story deals.
The problem is that this film goes from being a drama, to an action thriller and everything becomes a mixture that comes out a bit more graceful because of its cast rather than the script. Which also because of the obvious tragedy that is narrating, it cannot avoid to fall into emotional manipulation .
