Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles: The Movie soundly trumps other Turtles reboots in the humor and heart departments, although its simple plot keeps it just short of amazing.
All in all, “Rise” is as dependable as a Manhattan slice: not mind-blowing in the slightest, but just delightfully cheesy enough to keep kids and adults alike satisfied.

It show us how powerful a team is. It's very good. I suggest it to everyone to see this amazing animation.

This is an incredibly good addition to the TMNT franchise. Leonardo has an incredible character development (from a selfish **** to a responsible team leader) and this Raphael is a surprisingly fresh take on the character (who does NOT constantly angst about wanting to be the leader, but instead criticizes Leonardo out of concern and love for his family).
Mikey and Donnie get plenty of moments to shine. The fight scenes are extremely well choreographed and grand-scale; the character animation is gorgeous (especially the subtext of facial expressions) and all the little, you-blink-and-miss-it eastereggs give this movie so much heart. The humor can be over the top, but the serious moments never suffer under it.
I wish this movie had merchandise for it, (I'd buy it instandly) but the show (sadly) barely even has toys.
I really really hope I can get more adventures with and merch of those characters!

All one can hope to get is a colorful and exciting adventure that allows the characters’ personalities to shine. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie succeeds in that regard.
“Rise” is a serviceable — if also forgettable — entry in the cowabunga canon.
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie is a nice effort in extending the legacy of a far better TV series, but it fails to comprehend that in order to tell a “serious” and “epic” story, it lets go of all the elements that made us fall in love with the series in the first place.

Here is another case where animated films like this one are exhibited, that can hardly be called movies.
They are actually long TV episodes that have no distinctive measure to give them the title of movies.
It's fun within reason, but leaves no impression beyond stuffing the streaming service's catalog where it ended up or otherwise would have been collecting its profits had it been released in physical format.
One way or another it is completely expendable.

Why Netflix! Again! Another IP trashed! The Characters are so much over the top immature. And not in the sense of teenagers, no pre school level. All Characters are just unlikeable. What is with Leonardo and Donatello!? And what have you done with Splinter!? That's just Character assassination!
