Strictly for hardcore horror fans, though I can see this also becoming a huge “dare you to watch it” event for the uninitiated. We haven’t had a movie this dangerous in the theaters in a long time, and its presence is both important and historical in the history of extreme cinema. This movie will bite your face off.
Terrifier 2 feels like it was destined to be the ultimate overkill horror movie, and whatever else it might turn out to be, it’s certainly not forgettable.

Loved every minute of it! Art the Clown is the new face of slasher horror. Can't wait for a 3rd movie!

Terrifier 2 rips, tears, hacks, shreds, butchers, disembowels, decapitates, devours, pulverizes, tenderizes, slices, dices, skewers — I'm missing plenty — and knock-em-out-dead eviscerates the current competition when it comes to low-budget slasher effects.
It’s hard not to admire a filmmaking team asking you to endure such a prolonged amount of ruthless, blood-splattering bad taste. It indulges in all of its innate, nasty impulses, and then just keeps going (… and going …).
You might argue there's no redeeming value to any of this, and I won't fight you on that. And yet, the "everything and the kitchen sink" vibe of the whole thing renders Terrifier 2 an above-average slasher extravaganza. Watching this gives one the sense that they're watching something new, and that's a feeling you just can't beat. Whatever bloody adventure Art the Clown gets up to next, I'll be sure to watch.
Terrifier 2 is not for everyone, but this tasteless wonder meets nauseating expectations.
Terrifier 2 is essentially a series of grotesque homicidal set pieces stitched together into a threadbare narrative of midnight funhouse clichés.

Minha maior frustração foi o tempo de duração do filme. Não há justificativa pra ser tão longo com uma "história" tão vazia. Confesso que dá pra rir de algumas coisas, mas no geral dá tedio. As cenas gore são unicamente pra tentar chocar e impressionar. Não funciona comigo. Salto de qualidade absurdo em comparação com o 1. Destaque também para a atriz protagonista que manda bem mesmo com um roteiro simples e capenga.

It’s overlong for sure, but the kills are good, there’s some actual characters worth rooting for, and Art the Clown remains an icon. Hope the third film can be a slick 95 minutes with a $1 million budget (this looks real impressive for costing just $250k), may end up being the perfect slasher.
