Handsomely shot but rather inert adap of mid-19th-century play A Month in the Country.
A handsomely mounted if largely melodramatic affair that gains steam as it gives way to truer emotions and bits of veiled humor.
It takes time to grow on you, but for me, there is a demure watchability.
While certainly lushly mounted, Two Women is at best a piece of dated heritage cinema, and at worst cliche-ridden pomp.
