Amazon Prime fantasy/steampunk series’ second outing is on fire, an improvement over Season 1, which was decent but plodded at times. The pacing issues are gone and the metaphors from Season 1 remain; in fact they’re even more pointed.
There’s an awful lot of other stuff going on. The criticisms levelled at series one apply here too. But whatever problems it has, it looks like a million dollars.

One of the best series in a fantasy and magic world of victorian steampunk
Looks and feel like an Order 1886 or Harry Potter dark spin-offs.
Season 2 is on the top. Looking forward to Season 3...
There is a light spot of magic in each of us, even in a darkest of times...

SEASON 2
Very good.
Season 2 came late but it's a good continuation.
It gives conclusion to previuos story and add new things.
As usual: Splendid visuals, Dark urban setting, investigations, steampunk vibe, social thematic and a sprinkle of horror
Last episode isn't **** overall it's a show that it's worth your time.
Give it a try (after seeing Season 1)

SEASON 2
Bland intrigue, a lack of mystery, and too little time spent with its best characters has sapped this show’s magic and left only dour drama behind.
Storytelling shortcomings once again cut Carnival Row off at the knees, yielding an ultimately frustrating experience when a massive volume of ingenuity, inventiveness, and ambition is undone by the simplest aspects of spinning a yarn.
Stream it, but only if you really loved Season 1 of Carnival Row. The first episode of its final season is a big mess storywise, and doesn’t help viewers catch up from a first season that seems like it debuted eons ago.
The creative team smartly kept the show’s universe manageable with tightly interwoven arcs, but the second season doesn’t retain that focus. Thus, the most promising character arcs grind to confounding halts, leaving key conflicts unresolved and ultimately failing to justify the inclusion of these subplots at all.
First season was built upon a great idea that had some flaws. The concept’s design was successful, the execution around it wasn’t very creative. However, the second season does what the first couldn’t, building an imaginative story using its own foundation.
