Rarely do comedies last as long as this one has, and rarer still do they continue to challenge themselves as well as their viewers. Judge it however you like, but the gang has made it impossible to ignore “Sunny” in 2017.
Brilliantly written, amazingly funny, outstanding laugh-out-loud. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia never stops surprising me as the most original and creative comedy on television.
As always, Always sunny doesn't get mentioned by anyone for this Winter Season.
That´s extremely weird, because Always Sunny is still one of the best Sitcoms out there.
The first episode was a great social commentary, and still provocative as always.
10/10, as said, still one of the best shows out there.
Although this is arguably not the best overall season the show has produced it is remarkable that the gang are still making a show of such quality after more than a decade on air. For me just one of the ten episodes (PTSDee - although the payoff at the end was classic “It’s Always Sunny) fell a little flat, but if you’ve been a fan of the show up to this point you’ll find yourself consistently laughing out loud throughout.
Huge fan of the show, been watching for years. However the gang seems to lack the enthusiasm that they had in prior seasons. I think the premise for the first two episodes of season 12 were great, but what I found most hilarious about the show in seasons past was the witty banter between the gang which I think this season so far has been lacking in.
I love the show, watched seasons 1-11 dozens of times. This is the only comedy I'll watch over and over again and still laugh.
Season 12 is a let down. The whole thing feels uninspired with constant cultural references to other shows or movies or callbacks to previous episodes. There is very little new here and it feels like the cast lost their passion or became too busy with this project. There's probably the worst episodes in this season (cricket's tale) and none of them are the best. The opener starts off good, and it's interesting, but I doubt it has staying power. Besides the first episode, none of them are noteworthy and some are just plain bad.
If you have the first 11 seasons, don't bother buying the 12th. Wait until it's free on Netflix or some other service, the 12th isn't worth the price because the first 11 are just flat out better.
