YESSS! Brilliant, very strong opening of this new season and the way they get rid of Riggs. SO happy to not have that trailer trash in the series anymore. This new guy is brilliant, the way they slowly bring this together, excellent. Love the humour, these two work really well together, plus this new guy has some great fighting moves. I'm loving it, very promising to carry this show into the future and becoming it's own really new & unique thing.
Glad they made it so that this horrible dude can never come back!
The ones missing Riggs, go watch the movies. THAT'S Riggs, this man never was.
Ignore all the negative reviews ... they're all just angry that Crawford got axed, they'll give it a 0 no matter who replaces him. Was never a fan of American Pie myself, and drunken jock movies are such tripe, so you know I'm not biased in favor of Scott as Craford's replacement. So it means something when I say this show rocks. Scott is an excellent addition, and provides great chemistry, especially with his backstory. Dudes, good stories evolve. Deal with it.
Thought LW was doomed with the firing of the Riggs actor. Not so. The new guy is a better than adequate replacement, but they have him carrying too much personal baggage, just like Riggs. Still thinking the Roger character is still too wimpy and whipped. He needs to grow a pair, if you know what I’m talking about. A decorated cop gets steamrolled in his personal life? Not likely.
I wanted to like it as I don’t mind Scott but it is so terribly boring and soulless. It’s like Scott has had it written into his contract to be overly polite to Wayans and there is absolutely no chemistry at all. I feel like they have tried to take every facet of his character and make it opposite to Riggs for the sake of it. There’s no emotional connection to anything happening this season and I’ve literally dozed off numerous times and don’t think I’ll bother watching even with a shortened season. Clayne may or may not have been a terror to work with, tbh it sounds very manufactured and one sided but regardless, he was the reason it was a hit. He brought the excitement and the emotional investment to make it not just yet another cop show. And if they really did hate each other as much as they supposedly did then that somehow really worked onscreen. I’m sure the network can see that in hindsight they killed their own show the moment we lost the starring character. Disappointing that Wayans quit the show anyway, clearly would have a better chance of a longer season run if he’d been the one to go and not Clayne. **** for the fans who supposedly these shows are produced for in the first place, thinking it must be more so to stroke big name egos perhaps!
Ok, they should have ended this show last year with that ending. And should have been satisfied that the show run 2 seasons. Clayne and Jordana, was the show. And exchange Clayne with I dont know whats his name is. But magically conjure an equal weird cop. Its just plain dumb. This show will get cancelled for sure after this season.
Aaaannnd, I'm out. Sad to see a good show sink to the depths of mediocrity. Seriously. Stiffler?? Keyword - Stiff!
Yet another good show fubar-ed by an actor (Crawford) who didn't realize how good he had it. Shame.
Thought I would give Series 3 a look at but was so slow and boring that I found I lost interest halfway through. Show died with Riggs. The whole concept of Lethal Weapon was the zany unstable persona of Riggs which is now missing from the show. As for Damon he should retire or go back to My Wife and Kids as this is the level of acting he is capable of. Won’t bother watching next week unless I have insomnia.
