Despite the great plot, fantastic animation, awesome cast, I didn't care one bit about the characters I love. I think it needed to be double the running time, to allow for more connection to the characters & to build suspense. Everything happened so fast, it left no time to really connect to anyone, and no time for suspense. Like Revelation, there were still plenty of cheesy one-liners & puns (I wish there wasn't). The plot had so much opportunity to make an emotional & suspenseful movie, but the running time didn't allowfor it, which is a shame, because the cast was also perfect... It has as much emotional connection as the original 80s Filmation version. The problem is, we're adults now & expect more than that... BUT WAS IT FUN? Hell YES! Just check your brain at the door & buckle up
The first half of Revelation was simply horrible, but then came the second half and it was better.
Revolution, however is great!
This is what happens when the fan voice their dislike of something, and when those in charge listen to the fans. It hits all the right spots, the characters are acting as they should, they are recognizable, the Easter eggs are all over the place, which is a good thing, and the lore is there, those who have been following MOTU trough the ages will recognize all the proper implementations of the various alterations of the story. There is a bit of everything and it is well connected in to a coherent story recognizable for MOTU.I hope there will be more and if they continue as they do we will have a great new MOTU show.
They had improved from the first season. I almost liked the first four episodes. But, in the end, they imploded all series with the last episode. Very sad!
