I was very skeptical being a "devoted" fan of the original. Pace was way to fast but left me hanging on the edge of my seat wanting more. ABC has a winner and V is back!

Was really anticipating the remake since I grew up with and loved the original. And though the original had a cheesy 80's quality to it, the development of the characters, story, and suspense was much better than this remake. Here we go again. Nothing original at all. The parables aren't even done in a clever and subtle manner. Boring, token stock characters. What's that you say? And last, but not least: yet another awful actor portraying yet another angst-ridden teen whose dad is not in his life. Just another example of TV and movies these days "rebooting" something from the past and slapping modern special FX on it, rather than genuinely attempting to come up with something creative. Skip it.… Expand
