60 Parsecs is a simple game about not dying in space. While not complex in gameplay, 60 Parsecs is incredibly deep with strategy, problem-solving, and smart resource planning. The game expertly blends a cartoonish and goofy world with some of the darkest elements of death and isolation. 60 Parsecs is a surprisingly fantastic game that has a large amount of replay value. It’s well worth a look.
60 Parsecs is this mad chaotic race to begin with that descends into slow decay. What keeps it engaging is the random layout each time you start a new game to do your 60 second dash and the different tasks assigned daily each time.
Это офигенная игра она интересная много посхалок много концовок персонажы классные каждые персонажи особенные крутые тараканы и разумные и батарею не жалко им дать
60 Parsecs! relies too much on the story and dark humor to keep players engaged, and that wouldn't have been a problem if the developer would have delivered. But the repetitive gameplay mechanics and the way the story bits are supplied to the player make 60 Parsecs! a hit-and-miss affair. Even so, I have no doubt that the game will find supporters among sci-fi and survival games fans.
60 Parsecs!, unfortunately, fails to provide that basic working mechanic that makes it entertaining from moment to moment. It suffers from relegating you to the role of decision maker only, when most games also let you play through your decisions or give you something meaningful to do in between them. 60 Parsecs! is perhaps worth a look when it shows up in a Steam sale, but it doesn’t deserve a place on your must play list.
It's hard being hard on 60 Parsecs! because it's far from one of those thousands of unoriginal, and badly made indies that plague the industry nowadays. Robot Gentleman's "sequel" to 60 Seconds!, has tons of charm, with its tongue-in-cheek humour, neat Atomic Age vibe, and cartoony visuals - it's just that it fails both as a strategy title, as well as a create-your-own-adventure experience, because it turns out that, no matter how well you get at it, Lady Luck will be in charge of this space ride, not you.
60 parsecs! is a strategy/survival game in 2D in which you must survive with your space shuttle, after leaving the earth by taking all possible resources in the space station and this within a set time (60 seconds). The game is overall more advanced than its predecessor "60 seconds" in terms of the features and possibilities offered to you. We'll still regret the absence of water (we wonder how our protagonists survive without water). The replayability is average: first of all, each new game is unique in terms of resources you start with because the objects in the space station are scattered randomly. Moreover there are many ends (good or bad) depending on the choices you'll make. On the negative side, the events and dialogues of your onboard AI are almost identical to all games. You may find different enemies/intruders depending on the planet where you decide to land but the diversity stops there.
In summary, if you like the genre or liked 60 seconds!, you will undoubtedly like 60 parsecs!. The game is correct without being revolutionary.
PROS:
- Funny;
- Theme;
- Multiple endings;
- Art style;
- Lenght.
CONS:
- Repetitive decisions;
- We kinda do not care about the characters;
- Not a really noticeable difference in the skills.
It's a positive. Thumbs up!
Com um estilo de gameplay muito parecido com seu antecessor – porém muito aprimorado -, 60 Parsecs! consegue ser divertido, mas peca pela falta de variedade logo em seu ponto mais destacado: o enredo.
Summary60 Parsecs! is an Atomic Space Age adventure of scavenge and survival. Keep your crew alive and ready for action. Make difficult choices, face soup shortages and other horrors of outer space. And maybe reach your destination. Or not.
