Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a fun-filled casual mobile experience. Moreover, it helps scratch that COD itch. With smooth controls and an adjustable UI, this is a great addition to the franchise. The touch controls are workable, but they are improved with a mobile gaming controller. Unfortunately, install issues and latency problems undermine the polished finish.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is Warzone, but on the go. The visuals suffer, but the game plays just like you remember and it works. If future updates can address that and some settings, along with continuing the fantastic content pipeline, Warzone Mobile can grow the scene further.
This only performed well and was bearable on my M1 iPad Pro plugged into power and ethernet with an Xbox Elite controller- so I basically had to sit at the same desk as my gaming PC and Xbox to get anything out of this. Waste of time.
With a few, surprisingly minor, disadvantages brought about by touchscreen controls, Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile does exactly what it says on the tin.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile includes all the best elements of Warzone, while speeding up and streamlining matches and using cross-progression to make this a meaningful extension of the traditional experience.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile offers engaging modes and near console-quality visuals in a free-to-play portable format that’s perfect for taking out and about - provided you have a phone powerful enough to run it.
Warzone Mobile could have been a potential game changer in the Battle Royale genre now plagued with multiple issues that spoils an experience that was hyped.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a decent enough mobile battle royale game for those looking to whittle away some time. Mildly clunky controls and matchmaking that falls a little on the slow side mean it's not the ideal FPS for mobile players, but it does its job well enough. However, a greedy monetization model once again remains a sour note, and players should be mindful of just what is being pushed at them.
My experience with the game on my Samsung Fold3 (Android) was highly disappointing. While the gameplay wasn't plagued by lag, the image quality was abysmal, reminiscent of playing a game on the original PlayStation. The controls felt overly basic, lacking the finesse and responsiveness one would expect from a modern mobile game. It's clear that the developers have some catching up to do in comparison to their competitors, such as Call of Duty. Moreover, the majority of matches seem to be populated with either bots or hackers, which significantly detracts from the overall enjoyment. Overall, I cannot recommend this game in its current state.
This game is a steaming pile of garbage. The graphics are poor and look very blurry, even by mobile game standards. I've played off-brand Call of Duty mobile games that look better than this. That is embarrassing. I expected more from developers who've made so much money from the Call of Duty series. The physics are literally low-budget shovelware quality. It's exactly the type of physics you'd expect from a small no-name studio dedicated to mobile games. The greedy developers were too lazy to give us at least half-decent physics. This game is very unoptimized for Android devices. I don't want to play on the freaking apple devices, I want to play on Android. The game crashed numerous times. The battery drains quickly and the phone overheats. The shooting mechanics are awful and unsatisfying. ● The controls are terrible. There are many bugs and glitches. The controls are horrible and there are input delays. There was so much freaking lag. I literally put like 100 bullets on someone and he wouldn't go down, but he was able to kill me with only a small number of bullets. Here I was thinking this game would be a decent time killer for whenever I'm outside, but my phone can't run this trash properly. I have a fairly high-end phone and there is no way I'm buying a better phone just to play this low quality garbage. Clearly this is an unoptimized piece of garbage, and I demand this game gets optimized for my phone. The guns sound like they are made of plastic when you reload them. For goodness sake, why are these COD developers so obsessed with that stupid ghost skull mask? Enough already. It's not funny or cool, it's just cringeworthy. I don't ever want to see that cringey mask in a COD game ever again. I don't recommend this game at all, even if it's free.
