I love this game you get to create and choose your story
ask questions if you like It will take some time but I will answer them about Episode choose your story
If you’re lacking excitement or just needing a gossip fix, Episode - Choose Your Story may be the perfect thing for you; it can be found on the Appstore for iOS or Android devices and downloaded for free. This app is an interactive storytelling platform that allows you to live new lives through fictional characters. Episode is interactive because in many instances the reader gets to make choices that impact the main characters fate; it’s much like Wattpad in the sense that anyone can write (and direct) a story and post it within the platform for the public to read. Any genre you’re craving can be found on Episode; from a lighthearted teenage love, a billionaire baby daddy, a gut-wrenching murder mystery, or even dealing with the mafia, this app has what you need.I’m so partial to Episode because it can help you find a love of reading that you’ve never had before. I used to hate reading, but this app made it so easy to get lost in the stories for hours; it utilizes full animations of characters that move in the most human-like ways and appear to talk while text bubbles shoot out upon the screen. I’m aware that this may seem silly, but it really helps give readers that detailed picture that some people may struggle to make up in their own mind. My sister used to describe it as "reading books for people with no imagination,” which may seem harsh but I indeed struggle with the lack of a vivid imagination while reading. Episode has many different options to conform to whatever you may need to find a love of reading. You can choose stories with full customization, which means you get to create exactly how the characters will look in the story you’re about to read. You can also read stories with no customization which lets you see how the author envisioned the characters to look like in that story. You can read stories with background sound or music that enhances the experience, choose to keep the story muted, or pick stories that don’t have sound incorporated at all; the options seem endless. In some stories on Episode, you must buy gems with real money to continue reading or make the more desirable choices. If you read a story published by the Episode corporation itself, you’re more likely to get stuck wearing pajamas to prom. This is what typically drives people away from the app entirely, but I have learned that when you choose to read stories from authors that aren’t directly under the company the choices will almost never make you use gems, and ninety percent of the time the stories are better anyways! This app is not popular anymore and I may get odd looks for using it in public, but everyone should give it a shot; the key is to find the author who cares about their story’s integrity more than the commissions they could make. With that being said, I have a few stories to recommend; some of the very best stories within the Episode - Choose Your Story app are “Not Interested…”, “Assassins of Blackwood”, “The New Girl”, “Deep Desire”, “Shielded Heart”, and “Meet the Mendoza’s.” These stories have varying genres along with advanced writing and directing which makes them amazing reads.
An interesting idea - a platform that lets you create and read visual novels created by users, but doesn't work out. Many stories require 'gems' (bought with real world money) and most of the stories are created by pre-teen girls focusing on getting pregnant, love triangles, or are never finished. While there are a few really good stories, they are so buried under garbage it isn't worth it.
I used to play this game everyday. It had great stories all original and special in their own ways and Episode was a good community. Now, it’s filled with the same mafia trope over and over again that glorifies abuse and misogyny among many other horrible things. Episode does not care to remove them as long as it makes them money. Speaking of, this game went from being a fun, interactive game where readers can read and authors can make their own story and share it with the world; but now, everything has to come with a price otherwise you have the worst experience in this game. They also break their own rules in their official stories. tldr; Episode no longer cares about their audience, they only care about money.
