Innovative use of the DS. [Issue#22, p.82]
Even though the game pulls back the curtain on some fundamental elements of performing magic, it’s still fun and even head-scratching at times.
While sticklers might argue that Magic Made Fun isn't really a game, there's plenty of enjoyment to be had in mastering its array of unique and sometimes ingenious tricks.
If you've got the time and patience to prep, and an audience willing to go along for the ride, Master of Illusion could turn you and your DS into the hit of the holiday party.
With tricks that'll have even the greatest magicians scratching their heads and demanding the DS for their own, Master of Illusion is a great way to add a little magic to your life.
If you're not already a magic buff, and you're under 13, this will easily entertain you. [Feb 2008, p.64]
One of the most pointless games made for the DS. The idea may sound good on paper, but performing magic tricks is really something which needs to stay in the real world. Stay away from this one, far away.
