The popular autorunner offers the same great gameplay on Switch as it did years ago on mobile phones. New levels and challenges are an improvement, but controls which weren’t really thought through worsen the game. [Issue#287]
If you're in the market for an auto- or endless-runner on Switch, you can't do much better than Chameleon Run Deluxe. While the high price point is a definite issue compared to mobile and the new levels aren't totally worth it, it's an ideal way to test your memory and skill, and enjoy yourself while doing it.
Chameleon Run Deluxe Edition offers a challenging autorunner experience that will no doubt have you hooked and cursing at the same time. The combination of slick jumping and colour swapping makes whizzing around each level enjoyable, and the new features added to this Switch edition are very welcome, but the main bulk of the game will likely be over relatively quickly for most. It’s definitely an enjoyable ride while it lasts, though, and fans of the genre shouldn’t be disappointed.

Summary Chameleon Run is a unique, fast and challenging autorunner with a colorful twist. Jump, switch and run through expertly crafted levels that will have you running back for more. Your goal is to switch your color to match the ground as you run and jump from platform to platform. Sounds easy right? Well think again!
